Seton hall -11.5 over St Peter **** strong play
Hall is actually going over to Yantelli Center in Jersey City to play today. wow...Its been decades since the BE team would lower themselves and come to Jersey City.Bobby G must be recruiting someone from St Anthony's HS in Jersey city..
Hall has a great record so far knocking off USC and Vir Tech already. But the other nite they struggled with an NAIA team Cal Baptist and won by 12.Hall has some talent and will beat some good teams this yr in the BE.
Harvey is one of the top pt gds,Gause one of the best defensive players in the country,Hazell the BE pl. of the week last week,Mitchell the transfer,and Garcia the wide body.This starting 5 are good. Throw in top recruit pt gd Theodere and this uptempo team can score.Halls biggest problem is they have only 8 players..no depth..but todays matchup is a big problem for Peter...they did win 2 in a row but to Canisius and NJIT.two of the worst teams in the country.The other nite in the NJIT game I think Peter was down at the half..Now that might not mean a lot to many but NJIT has lost 30 or 40 in a row.
Peters 2 top scorers are 5'10 and 6'2.They have no front line.Hall plays 4 gds and one center or 3gds.Gause will be on Jenkins and will shut him down.Peter has no one else to score but the 5'10 Leon...Peter does not matchup well.Hall plays 4 guys on the perimeter and one inside.Garcia the 6'9 widebody has no one from peter to play post defense.but either did Cal baptist and he did nothing.I'm sure the past few practices thats what they worked on.get the ball inside...Hall plays pressure defense,uptempo,fast breaks...should win by 15-20 pts..
