Pitt -14 over Penn St ****** strong play
Pitt plays defense and rebounds better then most teams in the country.Sometimes on offense they will have some problems but noy today vs the Lions.
Pitt will shut down this weak offense and dominate on the bds.Lyr they beat them 64-37 and held them to shooting 27%.Panthers beat up a good memphis team by 19.Krauser is a top player and Taft inside will give the Lions big time matchup problems.There inside presence with there front line is no match.With Krauser and co. outside there is no way they can stay with them for 40 minuts.Troutman,Graves,etc.
Johnson at 6'9 is the only Penn St player that could cause problems.But he will be sandwiched.Luber is back today but it won't make a difference.
There is bad blood among these two schools.Penn St football,Big 10,etc.Pitt will kick there ass's.The past 3 yrs the scores have been 64-37,82-60 and 83-53.Pitt wins this by 20..
Kent St -8.5 over Clev St ****
Clev is 3-0 at home vs the Clarions,Norfolks st,etc.Kent shoots better,rebounds better,shoots FT's better and plays defense better.They have held the creightons and Flor St to under 60 pts.Warzynski and 4 other starters are avg in double figures.Haynes avg 7 assits a game and almost everyone avg 1 assit or more.Clev has Niakate a good gd avg 20 pts.They have some balanced scoring but they can't play defense.Moss one of there starters might be out today.But Kent defense will dominate.The past 2 yrs kent has won 116-66 and 91-68.Kent should win this by 15-20 pts despite being on the road..

URI has problems on defense.RU has no frontline but plays 4 gds.They have lost 3 in a row after scoring only 40 pts vs Princeton.Playing at the RAC,I think they come out smoking.URI's only big scorer is Hazelton at 6'8.But he doesn't post up.
Hofstra -10 over Johnnies *
Hof has more talent.Playing at home.There is a lot of bad blood in this game too.Johnnies refused to play Hof for yrs.Nothing to gain because they might get beat.Both schools are only 15 miles apart.Johnnies beat VT at home but the Pride will not stop today.This is payback for ignoring us for 25 yrs...And many of the Hofstra kids weren't even recruited by the Johnnies.Jarvis had 3 or 4 begging to come but he went out of state.
Notre Dame -10.5 over DePaul **
I think ND has a much better team then DeP.Esp on defense.DePaul lost on the rd to Bradley,NIU.I think a lot of people are taking dePaul.ND wins this by 15-20 pts.
Wichita +5 over Prov *
Prov will have its hands full with Howard.This game will be nit and tuck.Not a strong play because of prov zone vs a Mizzou valley team.But I wouldn't be "shocked" if the Shockers upset them.If this game comes down to FT's those BE boys are in trouble.
Richmond +1 over VCU *
Spiders won lyr 70-52.Think they do it again
Wisky +2.5 over Marquette **
I think wisky wins this outright despite marq 12-0 Su record.With Diener or not."Bo" runs that freak'in ugly offense that will control the tempo.
MAAC games
Fordham +5.5 over Fairfield *
small play because the Rams are still improving. Lyr Rams went up to Conn and upset them 72-69.Rams are better this yr and the Stags aren't as strong.But Rams have a lot of puppies.Fairfield is 1-3 ats away.
Iona -1 over Siena **
I can spend an hour on this game.Iona has so much talent that its unreal.Siena other then haddix has no front line.But as bad as Iona is they are 3-0 ats away.And Siena is 0-7 Su and 1-4 ats.Throw in Siena's last 4 games lyr and they are 1-8 ats in last 9.
Niagara +4 over Buffalo *
Buffalo is loaded.Lyr Battle hit a shot at the buzzer to beat the Purple.They have almost everyone back.Bortz and Idbihi are both 6'10.Gilbert and Cage are tough.Purple is missing 2 big time players that played in lyr's thriller,Reaves and darden.But Buffalo can't shot Ft's.I think this game goes down to the end.Not a big play because buffalo does have the talent to blow Niagara out.I just don't think it will happen.mendez is 4th in the nation in scoring.Cruz needs to step up today.
Rider +5.5 over Delaware *
spent a lot of time on this game.Hens return all 5 starters.But del cannot shoot Ft's and I'll go with JJ waking up and having a big time game.
Way to many games.Spent all last nite capping.Ignore most.
