WARNING: These plays could be dangerous to your bankroll!
After getting my ass creamed on that breakaway run last night in the FSU-HAW game with a few seconds remaining (I had a large bet on the UNDER 31.5 in 2H) I'm coming back with a vengenace for Satuday. Here are some some thoughts about each game. I have been swayed by some of the comments here at the forum, I will admit.
Here it goes:
FLORIDAY STATE -10 -- I'm the only person in the country who is not betting Notre Dame here. In fact, I'm on the Noles. Bowden's record coming off a loss is staggering, they have had a bye week to prepare, and Irish might get shut down completely (bad offense). Also, have a strong angle that suggest fading hot teams after 6 game ATS streaks (more on that next week in the daily report). Pure contrarian plays against the public sentiment. Noles by 2 TDs.
BC +4.5 -- Eagles a tough team, getting +4.5 (line was bet up from 2.5). PITT is mediocre at best. I'm taking the points in what should be a close game.
NORTHWESTERN +14 -- This is a bad team, but I don't think Purdue shold be laying two TDs here on the road. Two slight angles favor NW -- gettign 2TDs and a conference home dog.
KENTUCKY +4.5 -- Georgia hasn't played anyone worth a damn, so their undefeated record is deceiving. They run into a buzz saw here on the road laying points. I love Kentucky as one of the strongest plays of the week.
INDIANA +9 -- The man who runs the numbers has picked INDIANA as one of his top plays. His record here at the Message Forum speaks for itself. I'll coattail this play with a decent sized wager.
KANSAS STATE -31 -- K-ST is gloing to rip Baylor's ass out. This one is going to get ugly. I see body bags in this game. 56-7 something like that.
NEVADA +4 -- The man likes Nevada, too. I'm on it because his system has it.
NEW MEXICO +6.5 -- Utah is a fraud. I saw them play SDSU and they couldn't stop an 0-5 team from running up and down the field like it was a track meet. NM doesn't inspire much confidence, but Utah has proven to be a lousy road favorite recently.
NEBRASKA / TAMU UNDER 44.5 -- Huskers are a terrible team on grass. RC Slocum is the dumbest football mind in the state of Texas -- and thats REALLY saying something in a state inhabited by Mack Brown and Jerry Jones. Look for an ugly, defensive minded game.
MICHIGAN STATE +4 -- Spartans have not covered in six straight. This rates to be a PLAY ON (system wil be published next week). MSU has looked pretty bad at times, but there is enough talent on this team to keep it close at home. I'll take the points.
VIRGINIA +5 -- The man has the Cavs here in his system, so I'm on them.
IOWA STATE +13 -- Texas is laying -13 to a ranked opponent? You've got to be kidding me. When are people going to realize that this Texas team is OVER-RATED? They have no business in the top 10, let alone top-5.
ARIZONA STATE +13 -- PAC -10 dogs. Nuff said.
These are random thoughts. If I have any "facts' wrong, I'm sorry.
