So around msu campus this week, reporters have been grilling smith for what has happened these last few game to msu. Players practiced EVERYDAY this week and it was closed to the public, not even I could get in to view them (given I am close to the athletic director). What does this tell me? WIth SMith as the HC who the hell knows. I expect a trick play to occur, but will this team be motivated for the game? I know Stanton wants to redeem himself for the lackluster performance last saturday.
In my opinion, it all comes down to this... Can msu's defense stop the run? If they can't, mich's offensive line will wear out the def and look for them to go to playaction and take advantage of msu's questionable (weak) secondary. I know msu will put up some points, but can they stop mich? That is the question in this game. Now last time I checked mich was a 15 point fav. Now don't say to yourself "Well Mich lost by 3 to ILL by 3 at home, so mich should blow them out." Not so fast my friend, never ever judge a team by last week's performance. I expect MSU to be up for this game, but they just don't have the talent that the wolverines have. Look for Mich to run and run against msu.
No play on my part as I expect mich to win by about 14-17 points. But note that msu player's want to redeem themselves. I know for a fact that they are up for this game, but will it show on the field?????
