Moving overnight on our first iso for the Saturday Card (as this line
is sure to move in only one direction which would hurt us more and more
as the day progresses tomorrow). Let's lock in before the movement on
Saturday and secure the best number possible at this point in time.
Please note that The New York Wiseguys MLB is now 16-7 L5 Days, and The
General's MLB G$ Play is now 13-4 L17.

The General (70-45-3 for +22.15 Units):
American League (29-15-0/+19.05: 2* 29-14, 1* 0-1):
Saturday MLB G$ Play (2*) Chicago White Sox -190
National League (30-22-3/+3.9: 2* 28-22-2, 1* 2-0):
Interleague Play (11-8-0/-0.80: 2* 11-8-0, 1* 0-0-0):

Milwaukee (Capuano +$105) against Philadelphia (Lieber).
The Brewers are 6-4 over their last ten games and have won three straight games after last night's 10th inning win over the Phils. Capuano has been next to amazing at 12-6 on the season with a 3.58 Era. He is 4-0 over his last four starts, yielding only 17 earned runs in 36 1/3 innings of work. The Phils are 5-5 over their last ten games and their offense has been inconsistent at best. Lieber is now 9-10 on the season with a 5.12 Era and is 0-2 with a 5.02 Era over his last three starts.

Atlanta -105 over St. Louis (Hudson vs Marquis)

Couple reasons I'm leaning on Atlanta today. They are very good bouncing back from a game one loss (14-3). Marquis has NOT pitched well at all lately, and Hudson is still very new to NL hitters. With again a depleated lineup for the Cardnals, I think Hudson shuts the Cardnals down and the Braves get revenge from last nights drubbing.

Alex Smart Saturday Free Pick:

Pittsburgh Pirates (-150)
Sat Aug 6 '05 7:05p

Zack Duke the Bucks starting pitcher for todays tilt against the Dodgers was the National League Rookie of the month for July. The kid has been spectacular since being recalled from Triple A and has allowed just 4 ERs in 39 2/3 innings of work for a miniscule 0.92 ERA. Considering his current form it will be very easy for me to back him against any all comers. Look for the Pirates to ride Dukes arm to victory here this evening.
