Well like a lot of you I'm jumping on the obvious plays, but for some added reasons:

The home unranked minus the points is a good wager, but around the half way point of the season it always seems to falter some. Add to the fact that too many people know about it, and it isn't such a secret anymore.........still I can't pass up:

Nova -5 (5 units)....WINNA...........Texas has to be tired after that classic the other night, and now they are traveling to Villanova where a hungry Wildcat team will be waiting to welcome Durant to the Big East. Texas hasn't shown much on the road this year, and from what I understand their travel plans were delayed and Barnes lost some valuable prep time. The Longhorns are very athletic but going into the Wachovia Center and coming home with a W will be a tough accomplishment for this young squad and although the game isn't going to be played at the Pavilion, Nova was 5-0 there last year. Longhorns will have to prove to me that they can win on the road.......and a W against St. Johns and Colorado doesn't count

Arkansas -3.5...WINNA.. (5 units).........Razors backs are against the wall. and Glen Davis has been performing more like a "Big Baby" which means I don't feel Hogs will lose 4 straight.........I think this is a perfect spot for these Hogs who lost on a heatbreaker to Georgia, and by 2 at ole Miss.........I leaning heavy on the under here also, but will wait.

Drexel/Delawre OVER 118.5..WINNA.(5 units).......I have this one capped at 124 so I will take this bet and expect Drexel to build some more confidence after dousing Northeastern. If Delaware can get to high 50's this should go ocer easilly

Louisville +6...WINNA.. (5 units).............god this Cardinal team is tough to figure out, but I have faith in Pitino and believe he will motivate his crew for their trek to Blue Demon territory. If not, this could be a very long season for Cards.......I have it capped at 2...........so I will hope for a game that goes down to the wire!!

I have a few totals I will be looking at, will be scaling back a bit, but will hope to check in for some halftime total when things pop up....
Good Luck!
And lets be careful out there!!

ADD:

Rhode Island +7...WINNA.. (5 units).............I have this capped at near a pickem....hmmmmmm, Rams could pull off the upset here so I will take my chances with a team that is better on a nuetral court!

U.C. Santa Barbara -5 (7 units)......:SIB Whoops this is a 1st Half Bet.......I expect gauchos to jump on them early........

U.C. Santa Barbara -9 (7 units) for game.......sorry about the confusion....Good Luck!

Gauchos had an unexplainable loss last week to U.C. Davis Aggies at home in the Thunderdome which was their second this season at hom. Word has it that practices have been very hard this week, and coach has made sure that he got the squads attention. Gauchos are still tied for 1st with Long Beach and this is a game that they must win to stay at top of the standings. I don't see any look ahead here, and I would find it inconceivable that this team would drop two in a row at home. Cal Poly shoots 57% from the charity, while Gauchos are 74%....but I don't see this one being close, and feel this could be a blow out. The Gauchos have had a week off to think about things, and should give Cal Poly all they can handle in the Thunderdome. This is one of my strongest plays today!

good Luck!
