Season Record: 63-48 for +37.2 units

Don't have time for my usual detailed write-ups but going with these so far:

LSU -110 (vs. Virginia) for 3 units - Tough to go against a very well rounded and sound Virginia team. Very good picthing match-up in Ranaudo vs. Hultzen. Hultzen has been great for UVa (at the plate and on the mound), but Ranaudo has pitched very well recently and should continue that today. Virginia is a young team that hasn't let it show yet in the playoffs, but LSU being here for the 2nd straight year gives them a slight edge that will come into play in my mind.

Texas -290 (vs. Southern Miss) for 1 unit - Southern Miss is a good story, but I just don't see their run continuing.

Texas/S. Miss Under 10 for 3 units - Texas' pitching and defense should be performing well and the Under looks really good to me.

UNC +135 (vs. Arizona St.) for 4 units - Tar Heels back for the 4th straight year and are determined to come away with the hardware this time. Another great pitching match up in White vs. Leake. Sun Devils are a good squad with some great (but not deep) pitching. However, the Tar Heels are too proven and gritty not to love them at this dog price.

UNC/ASU Under 10 for 3 units - Tough one to take considering both clubs have good offenses, but the pitching staffs on both sides are equally impressive. I expect a low scoring contest in this one.

I honestly think the runs put up in the CWS this year are going to be pretty low and may surprise some people. The pitching staffs of the teams that made it this year are as good as any field I can recall in recent times. That and the fact the CWS was pushed back to start on Sat. and spread out a little longer will give coaches the time to bring back their better pitchers more than once.

GL guys.

went 2-2 today as UNC loses a tough one in extra innings and then Texas' Pitching and Defense that I was bragging on completely disappears.

3-2 for +0.7 units on the weekend.

Way to stay afloat, poon. Getting my arse handed to me, as I stand in at 0-3. I lost on LSU under, then took both dogs yesterday:scared

Undeterred, I am backing LSU behind Louis Coleman today. He is LSU's best pitcher, he threw a 2 hitter vs. Arky midseason, and he is a bulldog. No doubt that he is the toughest player (mentally) on the field tonight.

LSU -210 double play

Will check back for your plays later:toast:
