Detroit played a hard game yesterday. As per his statement that he wont be playing B2B games I dont think Yzerman plays today. So blue line becomes weak with loss of Federov as ND stated.
Rangers have rested and Detroit flies back.
Rangers have played 3 home games with all 3 going Under. They have scored 1.67 goals per game while conceding 1.0 goal per game at home. Agreed that they played Thrashers, Hurricanes and the Panthers but looks like they are playing better defence @ home. Eric Lindros is out. That is good news for the under.
Detroit has been quite stingy giving up 1.86 goals per game and 2.67 goals per game away from home. But this involved the 4 freakin goals they gave upto the Pens. Other than that they held the Sens and Montreal to 2 goals each.
I think there is a good chance there will be good defence in this one. Rangers are the only team in the league not to have scored a PP goal. They are going up against Detroit who are No 1 in the PK this season. Rangers are not bad themselves at No 6.
Looking for a shutout of the Rangers @ home and a 2 - 0 Detroit Win.
$ Have assumed Dunham will play for Rangers.
