rough start on laugher picks 0-3

what i really like:

North Carolina + as many as you can get but don't think you need them..great moneyline play

Oklahoma+14...no fuking way texas covers..they are the only team that stops texas from a perfect season...and the stoop stooges may pull it off

Cinncinnati+12.......2 sorry ass teams one giving way too many points

Texas A&M+3'...yeah yeah i know Baylor embarrassed them...but i think they cover this spread....(taoist likes the other side)(damn)

Buffalo+10'...how many times have we've seen this act and they cover.

Central Michigan-1' ..comes up as a play over army

Colorado State+ points... wins S/U..Utah must have some serious problems(it's the Coach)
i'll take Lubick and they hand Utah 2 straight lossess

Iowa+4..purdue loses 2 straight

Penn State+ the points...their coming alive and ohio state gets it's 2nd loss for the season and knocks them out of a substantial bowl game and maybe mich state will put them in the cellar

Oregon+ the points....arizona state has SOME defense but not enough.. i think oregon gets the cover.

florida State-20'...i think their the 2nd best team in the country and has the potential to upset USC in the big bowl,..

will post the final later this week

and yes i'm pissed at the vandy misfits

...dammit joe! :cursin:

...we're opposite my first 2 games.... :scared :cursin: :cursin:

...i was hoping the col game would run the other way so i might buy back a middle.... as for penn st. just can't see 'em putting any points on osu defense.... didn't like reading about moss' leg brace though. might buy it back too. just start over...except for baylor. LOL ;)

...that's 2 weeks in a row our cards have looked very different...kind of odd, as usually we're pretty close. I do like fl. st., ok, and iowa, but my favorite is oregon.

...any laughers this week, bud? :)

usc would certainly be in for a serious test against that florida state defense. obviously, its a hyopthetical for down the road, but i just have question marks about the fsu offense. theyve got talent galore at receiver and running back, but something hasnt clicked yet. but if usc dug themselves a halftime hole against fsu, they wouldnt be coming back with 30-40 2nd half points like theyve done against oregon and arizona state. i do agree that fsu is a legit national title contender. usc still the team to beat without question, but a team like fsu would match up really well with them.

as for your games, north carolina jumped out at me as well. think theyre a much better team than people think.

have always felt that central michigan could be a sleeper in the mac. not sure if they should be laying points necessarily on the road, but army is lame.

buffalo is an intriguing dog, especially at home. they are a different team there, even if it means playing in front of 750 people

best of luck joe

This is IE's post about Army's Carlton Ross. You might want to know the status of this kid before you make a decision.

West Point ? Coach Bobby Ross planned on limiting running back Carlton Jones' carries against Connecticut yesterday.
But the Army coach certainly wanted him to run the ball more than he did. Jones left the game midway through the second quarter after pulling a muscle and didn't return.
"I don't know the severity of Carlton's injury other than it is a pulled muscle," Ross said. "It's not a knee, it's not an ankle, it's not a shoulder. It's a pulled muscle.
"I haven't checked with the trainer. It could be (a) groin (pull), it could be abdominal. It's in that area."
Jones was unavailable for comment after Army's 47-13 loss. Losing Jones would be crippling for the Black Knights' sputtering offense. He is Army's best player on offense, a durable runner who had 1,269 yards and 17 touchdowns last season as a junior. Jones rushed for 122 yards on 34 carries against Iowa State last Friday.
Ross penciled in Jones for about 25 carries against UConn. He carried the ball 11 times for 52 yards (4.7 avg). Jones' hip bothered him all week and he didn't participate in contact drills during practice.
"When Carlton went down, that probably hurt us a little bit," Ross said.
Back-ups Scott Wesley and Seth Gulsby picked up the load with Jones on the bench. Wesley ran for 64 yards and two touchdowns. Gulsby had 20 rushing yards.
"That's part of the game," said Wesley of Jones' injury. "When someone goes down, you have to be ready."

these 2 teams are developing this year, damn game comes up even...give ever slightest edge to troy if you pull the 3 points originally given on the opening line.
the edge comes from playing a tougher schedule with troy(played S.C., UAB and Missouri)but of course you know the schedle as well as i do, but they scored many points against these teams.

North Texas averages in three games 8' points per game.
Troy averages 18 points per game 3 approx.

if i had to play this game which I'M NOT, i'd play this way

troy+7 or 8 and the under 52 or 53 6 point teaser
