here is my reasoning...

NM ST@Louisiana-Monroe

LM is a strange team. SU they are oner of the worst in the country, however, handicapped, they tend to tread water. SInce the beginning of 2001, LM is 6-24 SU and 14-12 ATS. This game is the perfect situation for LM to cover, they are getting points at home against another team that is not good (1-6 SU). NM ST, LM is 7-1 ATS when they are a dog of seven points or less.
NM ST is 3-17 ATS as a favorite in sun belt games, 1-12 ATS in all sun belt games and 0-3 ATS overall. This is the 3rd straight conference road game for NM ST, who I am counting on to be rather tired and homesick after their second consecutive trip to the state of louisiana ( all kidding aside ), as last week they played Louisiana Lafayette.
