Michigan St. -11 (Not a big fan of laying this much chalk on the road, but can't resist in this case. Tom Izzo once again has his Michigan St. team peaking at the right time of the year...winners of 8 of their last 9 which has pushed the spartans to the top of the big ten with an 11-3 conference record. Penn St. on the other hand has lost 7 in row SU and 6 of those 7 ATS....their last 3 home efforts have resulted in an 18-point loss to Illinois....a 19-point loss to Indiana
....and 15-point loss to Purdue. If Michigan St. has hopes of winning the big ten outright, they can't afford to fool around with a team like this...they should bury Penn St. quickly and take away what little heart Penn St. should have left after enduring a season such as theirs.....I'll take sparty to do just that.)
Missouri -1 (This team has been truly hard to figure....they are loaded with enough talent to knock off Oklahoma St. at home, but yet they are the same team that lost to Belmont at home? as of now, missouri is playing well, winners of 5 in a row SU and 4 of those 5 ATS...while on the flip-side K-State has dropped their last 2 both SU and ATS. Missouri needs wins desperately to keep NCAA hopes alive...how do they respond after such an emotional and hard fought double OT win against Okie St.? do they let-down against a K-State team that is 11-3 at home or do they carry that big win over here? I'm betting they carry it over.)
Memphis +7 1/2 (Let's see....a 20-4 Memphis team...winners of 11 in a row SU and 6 in a row ATS is getting how many? If this is a big 'ol bear trap, here I am. Louisville has been nothing short of awful the last month losing 6 of their last 7 SU. There must be people out there looking for Louisville to break out in a big way, because this is a pretty big line....Memphis won the earlier meeting this year by 4....with these two definitely going in opposite directions, I'll take the points and see what I got myself into....because something here sure stinks.)
Cincinnati -1 (Cincy won an OT game against Louisville last weekend and then parlayed that into a destruction of St. Louis on wednesday. UNC-Charlotte is good at home with a 9-2 record and they won the earlier meeting this year at Cincy by 3...and have actually won 2 straight now from Cincy going back to last years second meeting. I really think Cincy may have gotten out of the funk they were in the last couple of weeks with this weeks two wins....I really think they are set on exacting a little revenge on Charlotte....think this is a statement game for Cincy.)
Oregon +14 1/2 (I am betting this game based solely on the fact that I believe this is just too many points. Oregon played Stanford to a 3-point game at home in the years first meeting. Stanford has become a public team for sure given their undefeated status and #1 ranking. I like the fact that Oregon is capable of putting points on the board, they avg. 78 ppg. and with what I feel is an overlay because of the factors listed above, I believe they have a good chance to keep this within this pretty large #.)
Mississippi St. +2 (I know Vandy is good at home posting a 14-1 record....but take a look at Miss. St. on the road......10-0 SU and ATS!
Miss. St. is 22-2 overall and is still fighting for the overall SEC title....they hold a one-game lead on Kentucky at the moment. Good team....playing with motivation........getting points....gimme 'em.)
Good luck to all in whatever you play!!!
