The A's have some good hitting lefties on their squad; Kotsay, Chavez, Hatteberg, Durazo. Lefties hit .338 vs Nomo last year. Zito will have his usual bouts with wildness, but will get the job done.

Livan just keeps on giving solid 7 inning starts. I like the attitude of this Nationals team, their line-up works a pitcher 1-9.


SD/Pitt under 7 2.20 to win 2

Last season Petco was an under gravy train and it looks to be continuing. Woody will bounce back after his opening day debacle in Coors and Perez is ready to show the Pads they never should have traded him.


Sitting here currently choking on the Yankees chalk, but the game isn't even halfway over and Yanks will make a run at it.
