A few plays to start of the year:

Utah +3 over UCLA above average play
Arkansas +7.5 over USC above average play
BYU/Arizona under 51 above average play

Interested to hear your reasoning on Arkansas, Nickle...

Couple reasons:

1. Everyone remembers the 70-17 beating. . . any square can raltionalize that laying 7.5 is a gift in this one. Vegas will get a lot of action on USC, no doubt about it.

2. I don't care what anybody tells you, USC lost a lot from last year. Sure they have talent everywhere on the field but some places will take time to develop. Can't do it by the end of game 1 even for Pete Carroll. If this game was in Southern Cal, I'd expect them to win by 14+ but not on the road in Game 1 against Arkansas. Should be very close and Arkansas will fight hard to the end even if its a backdoor cover.

I see your point on the square angle...but couldn't you also look at it as "USC lose White, Bush and Leinart AND is laying over a touchdown in an SEC stadium???"

Also, what do you think about BYU getting 7 against U of A? A touchdown is an awful lot to lay with a team that has documented offensive issues, even with overrated "Tui." Mike Bell was a big loss, I dont care how good Longbons is supposed to be.

BYU seems to be able to score on anyone...U of A is getting a little too much pub and Stoops a little too much credit after going 6-16 the last two seasons. I dont think U of A can really exploit the weakness of BYU's defense. Bronco Mendenhall can coach as well...

I dont think squares think about things like that lol, ive talked to a few of my buddies who love usc here and they are defenetly consistant losers. Im gonna stay off this one until i can see what usc looks like but it does seem like vegas knows somthing here.
