Good Luck today BG! Like Wisco and Temple myself.

I'd be interested to know two things:

Your (and the other usual suspects) opinion on the Kent-Akron game and the MAC tourney in general so far. I was fascinated by the Miami-Kent game. Too engrossed in how it would play out to even make a call on it. Can they take down the Zips again? I am leaning to a strong yes right now, but would like to hear from others.

And, did you see that IU game last night? Was Indiana's demise just like Dakich's tenure at BGSU in a nutshell, or what?!?!?

Thanks. I will hang up and listen. :toast:

I like Kent St. tonight and grabbed a bunch of -1.5. Thinking I might drive downtown and watch it and then maybe see if any fat Buffalo girls are still hanging around. :142smilie

I've been fading Indiana since Dakich took over and it has paid off.

before we begin our trek to the Q I'd like to expound on why I think the Zips have a hell of a good shot to beat the Flushes tonight.

Kent went through one of the most physical games I have seen in a long time late last night. At the final buzzer both teams were exhausted and beat up. Those of you that saw it know what I mean . Akron pretty much cruised through their contest with Western never making a run at all.

In their last meeting Akron shot 32% and just 3/23 from beyond the arc. They could not have been worse. Despite those woes, Kent won by just 3 points on a last second bomb from Al Fisher. Akron plays well at the Q and their shooting reflects that at about 57% from the field over the two games.

I also like that despite the game winner last night against Miami, Al Fisher seems to have lost his jumper. He's an outstanding talent, no doubt, but has struggled in Cleveland.

Early this morning I grabbed some Kent on the cheap money line (-120) but after much thought I think there are a lot of solid reasons to back the Zips tonight.

Go ahead ,call me Homer!!
