Well THUNDER, never bet on soccer before, but am wagering on your selection.

Have a question...What does Hotspur mean?

Good luck my friend.

Tottenham are very good, but they did play mid-week in Europe, so a few regulars won't be playing. They do have some good players to fill-in like Keane and Pavlyuchenko.

With that being said, it could be a 2 goal victory, because Wigan are just that bad.

For another good pick, I would recommend Cardiff on the road in Portsmouth in the Championship. Also, Milwall over Coventry City.

Good luck!

Is a little trivia from wiki.answers.com out of place here? Sorry if it is...

The 'Hotspur' in London's Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is derived from the 14th/15th century knight Sir Henry Percy, known as "Harry Hotspur". The Percy family owned substantial tracts of land in Tottenham and Henry himself had lived there for a time. Killed at the Battle of Shrewsbury in 1403, he had a great reputation as a fearless and heroic warrior even in his own lifetime and was called "hotspur" because of his dashing willingness to charge into the thickest part of battle. This dashing attacking spirit has come to symbolise the character of the club, reflected in their motto "Audere Est Facere" (To Dare Is To Do).

He was a leader of the rebels in Shakespeare's Henry IV, Part I (which I remember reading in high school).
