georgia (-11) 2 units. this is so insanely obvious that i'm pulling back a little on it. they could have made this line 8, and it would have seemed too high, right? this line is screaming so loudly for tennessee money that i smell a rat. but i am still drawn to it, like a moth to a flame.
south carolina (+7) 2 units. if garcia could avoid turnovers, this would be a much stronger play. in fact, i'd probably play sc on the ML. but if garcia could avoid turnovers, this line wouldn't be 7, would it? 'bama struggled in their only road game, and sc has a better d than arkansas.
sc/'bama under (47.5) 1 unit. again, it's so damn obvious. this total seems about a td too high. i guess it'll come down to how many tds garcia gives the tide.
cal (-7.5) 3 units. not even sure what to say here. there's no way cal should be laying this many to ucla, right? 7.5 is one of those lines that just begs you to play the dog. hell, cal only scored 9 points last week. how can they possibly cover 7.5 against a resurgent ucla squad? i guess we'll know in about 8 hours.
pitt (+6) 2 units. the road dog has covered the last 5 matchups in this series, winning 4 in a row until last year when nd's late rally fell short. nd has only beaten purdue and bc. while pitt isn't as good as people thought they were going to be, they are not as bad as purdue or bc.
la tech (-1.5) 2 units. whoa, talk about a line jump. guess i should have jumped on the bulldogs earlier. gotta expect a huge letdown from the aggies after the big win over byu.
LSU (+6.5) 2 units. this series has been dominated by the road team. lsu's defense will keep them in this game.
kentucky (+6) 2 units. auburn's only road game was a 3-point win when they were lucky to hang on against miss st. i'm not buying the hype just yet.
stanford (-10) 1 unit. alright, who's the bastard who hammered the cardinal to drive up this line? so far, the only game usc has covered this year was against a hapless washington st team.
rice (+9.5) 2 units. rice has won 4 straight over utep, and covered 7 straight. i'm not impressed by utep's wins over new mexico, new mexico st, memphis, and arkansas pine bluff.
