there's one game i've loved all week, and now i'm also really liking another.

clemson (-3.5) 4 units. i love this game so much, it scares me. this line jumped off the page at me when i first saw it on monday. this is a crazy line, right? tell me they couldn't make auburn a 3-point fav and get plenty of auburn action in this game. clemson pulled away late to make their win over troy look better than it was, and then really struggled against wofford. WOFFORD!! meanwhile, auburn just keeps on rolling. who in their right mind could take clemson in this game, laying more than a field goal? fortunately (well, i hope it's fortunately), it's been a long time since i've been accused of being in my right mind.

pitt (+3) 3 units. another crazy line. i know iowa just lost to iowa st, but that was a road game against a big rival. nobody has any big expectations for pitt here. the line is low to start with, the whole world is on iowa (as you'd expect with this line), and the line hasn't budged off 3. smitty always listens to warren buffett... "be greedy when others are fearful..." well, how can you not be fearful of taking pitt in this game. hopefully greed is still good. wow, i just quoted buffett and paraphrased gordon gecko. wtf?

colorado st (+7) 1 unit. all of madjacks is on colorado st, so we're probably screwed. but wow, what a tough spot for the buffaloes. they opened at hawaii, then lost a close non-league game to cal (after losing to cal by 45 last year), next week they are at ohio st, then they start conference play. and they manhandled the rams last year. if you believe emotion plays any part in college football, well, it's all gonna be on colorado state's sldeline today.

mich st/nd under (51.5) 2 units. it's almost impossible to take this game under, right? well, nd/mich was looking like an under until all hell broke loose in the last few minutes. sorry for my use of the word 'hell', notre dame fans. i should warn you when i'm going to use such strong language. anyway, isn't this total begging you to take the over? and they normally don't have to beg people to play overs.

san jose (+6) 1 unit. seriously? san jose? yup. i ain't proud of it. but this line indicates that somebody thinks san jose can keep it close with the wolfpack. and who am i to argue with "somebody"?

presbyterian (+42.5) 0 units. i just wanted to type "presbyterian" to see if anyone was paying attention.

austin peay (+16) 0 units. this is fun. how 'bout an austin peay/presbyterian parlay?

troy/arkansas over (63.5) 2 units. may be too easy, but i'll bite. arkansas plays at alabama next week. there won't be much focus on the trojans.

i believe that is the FIGHTING blue hose, sir. ok, they're not doing much fighting tonight.

i am one epic collapse by pittsburgh short of having a great day today. i expected that shit under 'the stache'. but that was a tough loss to take.

if the trojans and the hogs don't put up some points, i barely made a profit today.
