been heading in the wrong direction for about 6 weeks now.
indiana (+7.5) 2 units. call me crazy (you wouldn't be the first one), but i really like the hoosiers today. might even take a shot on the money line. they have to be feeling about as confident as an indiana football team has in a long time. after struggling to start the season with danny o'brien (0-4 ATS, the first 3 were started by o'brien), the badgers turned it around under joel stave, but now he's out for the season. they averaged 17 points in o'brien's 3 starts; 26 points with stave starting. so stave gets knocked out, and they scored 3 points in the 2nd half against michigan st and they lost a yard in their only OT possession. on the other side of the ball, wisconsin has been solid against the pass their last 5 games, but indiana (#23) will be the first team the badgers have played ranked in the top 65 in the country in passing offense since their poor start to the season.
syracuse (+2) 1 unit. this line is insane. absolutely begging for louisville money. so i gotta take a shot with cuse.
ok st (-10) 1 unit. ok st averages 5.45 yds/carry. wvu can't tackle. wvu coming off 2 blowout losses, then the OT loss at home to tcu. and they play oklahoma next week. how fired up are they going to be for this game?
alabama (-13.5) 1 unit. as impressive as a&m has been, i'm going to say the exact same thing i said before their game against lsu; i just don't think they're ready to compete against the elite in the sec. they are catching alabama in a letdown situation, but i don't think that will be enough.
illinois (+3) 2 units. as much as i like this kid nelson at qb for minnesota, i don't think they're good enough to be a road fav yet. they are 0-3 ATS on the road this year.
texas st (+20) 2 units. that's right, texas state. la tech finishes with utah state and san jose state. the back door should be wide open.
lsu (-16) 1 unit. as much as i hate laying 16 points with a team that may not score 16, the bulldogs finally started playing good teams, and they are reeling, having been outscored 76-20 in their last 2 games. lsu is a tough place to right the ship.
utah (-1) 2 units. the utes' offense is suddenly on a roll under wilson. i think he'll improve in his second road start.
