Eastern Michigan (+13) 2 units. obviously we were getting great value with the bulls last week, after UConn nearly beat Michigan. now the shoe is on the other foot (which sounds uncomfortable), and we're getting great value going against the bulls. that team is so bad that if you lose to them, you have to fire your head coach. they were favored by 12 over stony brook 3 weeks ago and they needed 5 overtimes to beat the seawolves by 3. sure, the fightin' emus* are terrible, but I wouldn't be surprised if they won this game.
army (+10.5) 1 unit. ok, bc might not completely overlook army after losing to them last year, but the eagles are coming off that game against florida st and they have Clemson next. so despite that loss last year, they may still not be completely focused on the cadets.
ball st (+3.5) 3 units. maybe this one is almost too easy, but the cavs may not even score 4 points. ok, i'm exaggerating, but their offense is terrible. the cardinals are catching the cavs between pitt and Maryland.
florida (-12.5) 2 units. I gotta eat SOME chalk, don't I? seems like everyone's on Arkansas, and the line has gone up. I don't think losing driskel hurts the gators. if they shut down the hogs' run game, and they should, they'll pull away in this game. strong lean to the under, too.
tcu (+8) 2 units. I gotta believe the horned frogs have had this one circled on their calendar after falling just short to the sooners last year. down 7, they drove to the 12 in the closing seconds and boykin ran for a td that was called back by a penalty. I expect tcu's defense to stuff the run and maybe pull out a win today.
Kansas st (+13.5) 2 units. ok, this is either the worst line on the board, or a huge trap. obviously I am betting that it's a trap. there's been a big dropoff for kstate this year. their wins are over umass and ul Lafayette. they are so bad that they have lost to north dakota st and, really embarrassingly, to texas. and yet, somehow, this line has dropped below 14.
Washington money line 1 unit for 2.7 units. i'm going to play the huskies again, but despite their easy win over Arizona last week, price reminded me of just how bad he is. I really think he has regressed during his college career. there's just no consistency to his game. so I figure if he's 'on' tonight, the huskies can win this game. if he's not, they could be in for a rough night.
