pitt/duke under (50) 2 units. i like duke here, too, but i think the under is the stronger play. if duke is ready to play, their defense has been very solid for most of the year. and pitt's offense is.... not quite as dynamic as north carolina's. interesting that pitt is 4-1 in conference despite only outscoring their opponents 116-106. could be a good bet-against the rest of the way.
emu (ML) 1 unit to win 2.1. wow, now i'm just throwing good money after bad, playing emu on the ML 2 weeks in a row. as terrible as emu is, umass still has no business laying a td on the road. and the minutemen may be looking ahead to miami oh next week. in their game against miami last year, umass blew a 20-point half time lead to lose 42-41. and they drove down to the 6 in the closing seconds, but instead of spiking the ball for the game-winning fg, they ran a play and got stopped at the 2. i gotta believe they are completely overlooking a terrible emu team. based on the total, this game is going to be a shootout. first team to 40 wins.

temple (-2.5) 3 units. maybe this is a trap for the owls, with memphis on deck. but this game should not even be close. if the owls' d has regained their focus, they'll win this one easily.

arkansas (ML) 1 unit to win 2.1. it will be interesting to see how lsu reacts to getting manhandled in their first loss of the season. arkansas has covered 3 straight vs lsu. the hogs' only sec losses are in OT against a&m and at alabama. they've turned things around after their horrible start. and they should be feeling pretty good after that crazy win last week.
