houston (-4) 1 unit. hard to love either side here. obviously the raiders' success is due primarily to carr. i wouldn't be shocked if cook turns into an ok qb some day, but it ain't gonna happen today, against this defense that allows the 2nd fewest passing yards in the league. on the other side of the ball, osweiler gives this team their best chance to win. savage is a joke. anyway... odd stat for osweiler... he threw 12 INTs in 221 attempts at home this year vs 4 INTs in 289 attempts on the road. hmmm... ok, he's their best qb, but he may keep oakland in the game today. one thing in his favor - oakland is dead last in the league with only 25 sacks this year.

oak/hou under (37.5) 3 units. clearly this is the best bet in this game. i mean, with these qbs, there could be 4 defensive tds or at least a lot of very short fields for the offenses. but, barring that, points will be at a premium today.

det/sea under (44.5) 2 units. a little odd that this total is climbing. i was ready to play detroit in this game. seattle is mediocre this year. and then detroit's center was ruled out. his backup is a rookie. i certainly can't trust the seahawks laying points, but i ain't playing a rookie center on the road at seattle either. so i'm going with the under. just like the other game, it's hard to see either team having a lot of success moving the ball consistently.

2nd half

2nd half

doubling down.

under (19.5) 3 units. again, just need to make these teams drive the length of the field.
