I agree. If TN hits on all cylinders this weekend, I think they have a good chance for an outright upset. It's tough to play in Knoxville. There is no way I'm betting on this game though. :nooo: I have been burned way too many times by the SEC this year.

What up Stuman? ...good to see another new addition to the best damn handicapping site on the net!!! :D

...hope all is well with you and the little miss in memphis. ;)

p.s. Tennessee wins this one outright...and I'll be in K-town to watch it happen. Although I have a general rule not to play on any Tennessee games, methinks I'm gonna play a small amount on the $line...just for chits and giggles.

I wish I could be there with ya on Saturday. That is going to be onehellova game! :Yep: Been looking forward to this one all season. Gotta keep my $ in my wallet for this game. I just can't pull the trigger.

:topic: Anyone got a lean on the Georgia/Mississippi game? Is Georgia on a mission this week to save face, or do they come relaxed now that their perfect record is blemmished? 15 points is a lot of wood in the SEC, regardless of the teams involved.

TIA

Peace out my brotha... :weed:

T-Bone...my apologies for posting all of this in your thread.... I hope that you don't mind.

Stu, this was posted in another thread by waymac....

waymac said:
Not sure of the exact record but when team has no losses late in the season and suffers 1st loss they usally lose ATS the next week.

That would be play against notre dame, nc st, and geogia.

reason is that there is a letdown of going undefeated and chance for national championship. I would think in the past they were still favored but in this case nc state is not.

recent weeks oregon and air force lost 1st game and not only did not cover but lost again!!!

...this seems to be a correct statement, but i wondered if anyone had the actual numbers on this? ...say maybe from week 7 or 8 on? anyone know? thanks.

naw man
that actually was the 1st one that grabbed my eyes
if you would have set the line on that game at the start of the year what do you think probably a pickem now gettin 9 in ktown with cool weather i imagine and may be a little fog
i think the vols should roll . lotta defense and a lotta poundin up the middle should be low scoring as well if they just don't turn the ball over.
as far as uga ole miss i haven't looked at it very good yet i will b4 the weekend gets here

...actually, at one of my outs, they had "games of the year" lines set before the season began and this one was Tenn -2.

Although hindsight is 20-20, I wish I would have hammered Miami at +2 before the season started, as that would have opened up an incredible middle opportunity. Then again, who thought that Tenn would come into this game with three losses?

They had that early line set in the anticipation that both would come into this game undefeated.... But I'm with ya, I think that Tenn can hang with them and might pull the outright upset in K-town. It will be a wild crowd next sat night.... Good luck this weekend.

i looked over that uga ole miss game and i still don't know for sure who i would play if i had too i have it right at the number
36-21 uga but ole miss has a better pass defense at least by the numbers and georgias running game is struggling right now so i think i would tend to lean towards the rebs if i had to play it

Very scary...all three of us in the same thread....

Hope all is well Stuman....hope that "m" thing is going well!! :thumb:

I must agree with this pick. Tennessee has a very good chance of beating Miami outright......

I can understand the Rutgers game.....but lets not forget that Rutgers has put up points on both of these teams......I'm not sure that Miami actually "overlooked" Rutgers.....also, I'm sure that they did not overlook Fl. St. and we see how that game turned out....

I think it's gonna be a barnburner in K-town! :director:

.....and Stuman, unfortunately..I see Ole Miss getting blown out in this one.......you got one very ticked off GA team comin' at ya! :firing:

and Taoist....I don't say this very often at all......"GO VOLS!!" :drinky:
