UMass +3 (Two bad teams going at it here....UMass has only covered 1 out of their last 10....not something I would usually like to back, but this could be a spot where being on national TV brings out their best....if they have such a thing....lol....I'll take a shot with them.)

Depaul -2 1/2 (UNCC just got destroyed by my local Valpo Crusaders the other night, and now must take on Depaul who has shown they are capable of playing decent ball at home.....with the short price, I'll take a shot that Depaul comes to play today.)

UCLA +9 (UCLA is awful, losers of 9 in a row....Georgetown themselves aren't putting too many checks in the "W" column, having lost 4 in a row and 6 of their last 7. I'm hoping UCLA will take this trip across country as an opportunity to get away from all of the negative press I'm sure they are getting back home and put fourth a good effort.....I'll take the points and see what happens.)

Dayton +9 1/2 (a 16-3 dayton takes on a 16-4 xavier....both teams are playing well right now, dayton having won their last 9 and xavier winning their last 8. An in-state rivalry game, not on the same level of cincy-xavier, but a rivalry none-the-less, so I'm going to take the points with a good team here, and hope for a nailbiter.)

Georgia -2 (Georgia not playing great b-ball, haven't covered a game in their last 4 opportunities....but feel they will come out today and take care of the vols. I have been riding tennessee as they have covered their last 8 out of 10....jumping off today and going with the better team I feel here laying a short price.)

Kentucky -2 1/2 (was going to play Ole Miss as I saw the line at 4 last night....the line drop has swung me around to the other side here. Kentucky obviously is playing the best b-ball in the SEC and probably country right now....I know Ole Miss is 44-4 SU their last 48 home games, but I will ride this hot Kentucky streak until it cools.)

Colorado -8 1/2 (altitude and attitude....colorado has both at home.)

Lasalle -1 (playing what I feel is the better team here.)

Va Tech +12 (Va Tech has been destroyed on the road this year, but coming in off of that beating they laid on UConn, their confidence has to be at an all time high....if there is a time for them to show well on the road, here it is.)

Indiana -6 (playing these guys again....my alma mater....can they get it turned around tonight....seems like a lot of points for a team playing the way they are....MSU not good on the road....hope that continues. This is a root from the heart play, so be careful.)

Fordham +15 1/2 (St. Joe coming in off of whoppin Villanova...they played so well in that game that possibly they could come in a little flat here against a bad fordham team.)

E. Carolina -7 (E. Carolina hasn't played a good game since that crushing at the hands of Louisville....tonight may be the night they get back on track....at home E. Carol is 7-3, while S. Miss is only 1-6 on the road....taking a chance that the pirates right the ship.)


South Florida -5 (St. Louis is only 1-7 on the road, while S. Florida sports a 10-1 home record...St. Louis coming in off of a hard fought loss at Marquette....they have been playing well, covering their last 4.....thinking the fatigue and pressure that S. Florida brings on their home court may catch up with the bills.)

Villanova +1 1/2 (Nova coming down south after getting humiliated by big 5 rival St. Joe at the palestra Monday....17 first half TO's did in the cats who played a much better second half....hoping that second half carries over here tonight, looking for a good effort.)

UAB -5 1/2 (UAB is 9-2 at home....Tulane is 1-6 on the road....throw in the fact that this is a payback game for UAB having already lost at Tulane 10 days ago, think warrants a play on UAB.)

S. Illinois +2 (I think that S. Illinois is a better team.)

New Mexico -1 1/2 (I said it before, and I'll say it again....I hate the way Air Force plays basketball. New Mexico is no world beater by any stretch of the imagination, but the fly boys are on their last leg of a 3 game road stretch that has seen them post 35 at utah and 33 at BYU. The pit used to be a tough place to play...and although it surely isn't what it used to be, I think the lobos may be able to handle the zoomies here.)

Middle Tenn. St. +6 1/2 (Teams seemed pretty evenly matched, so I'll take the points.)

Idaho +15 (Idaho playing better getting a bunch of points here....don't know if they can keep this close, but I'll give them a shot.)

Utah St. -3 (Utah St. hasn't covered a game is 5 chances....if the real Utah St. shows up, they take care of Cal Poly....I'm betting they do.)
