Philly (+9) over Detroit is getting to
Don't see the game getting this out of hand. 76'ers have started to play better and Webber is getting into the mix a little more. Chris Webber could make up for a bumpy start in Philadelphia by coming up big against Rasheed Wallace. Philly has the ability to come out and steal this game but as always with philly the burden will fall on AI's shoulders. Detroit smashed the 76'ers in their match-ups this season but the playoffs are a different monster.
Boston (-3.5) over Indy
One of the biggest concerns for Pacers is poor defense of late. 3 of Indiana's past 4 opponents shot at least 54.0% from the field, and Boston is a team with an array of offensive options.The Celtics went 18-9 after acquiring Walker and averaged 102.7 points in those games. Although the Pacers won the season series (2-1), all 3 games came before the Celtics acquired Walker.
Rockets (+5.5) over Dallas
Entering the playoffs with a high-powered offense not a surprise for the Dallas Mavericks. BUT now their commitment on defense. Mav's have the depth but Houston has a sense of urgency for this game. The role players for the rockets HAVE to step up today.
