Small play on Thur nite with Nebraska -10[wish I could of gotten it at -8 like many of you]

Neb defense is tough.So Miss offense is bad.Possibe backup Qb is going to run the offense.Lord and co. running game will put So Miss defense on the field all day.Esp when offense will be 3 up and punt.
Neb should win this by 2 Td's.One problem about Neb. is, they are terrible on "grass".They love the artificial stuff.Last 3 yrs they are a .500 team on grass.
But think size of the lines favors Neb.Huskies running game should dominate.

Vir Tech -22 over UConn

I Have been on UConn bandwagon.Love Orluvsky,Caulley,etc.
Offense can score.Big WR's,solid OL line.They did stumble vs BC.
But Vir Tech is a different "breed".
UConn defense will not be able to stop Randall and Jones.UConn DL and LB's are solid.But the DB's are weak.Their small.VT 's attack will be like Paul Revere's warning cry" One by land,two by air".
UConn will have a hard time in Blacksburg.VT will pour it on.Huskies will score because Caulley is one of the top RB's in the east.But he is going against Jones one of the best in the nation.
Strong play for VT -22 this week.I know UConn is lite yrs ahead of 2 yrs ago but the last time they played in Blacksberg they lost 52-10.But UConn covered +49. Okafor and Gordon might suit up on Sat.But Huskies will still lose and not cover.

Army +18 over So Florida......have gone to the bank on Army.Their offense finally got their act together and outgained Tulane.But 8 turnovers killed them.Tulane subbed with a 25 pt lead and they almost blew it.
Think Army might be able to keep this closer.Just maybe my presence their will be enough to cover the spread.
I've got seats on the 50 yd,in row 6,with all the army brass.Will break down the game in a few days.

North Texas -18 over La-Laf...... Cobb is back.NT offense is still bad but should put away the Rajun Cajun's.Last 2 times Mean Green won 27-0 and 42-17.It;s 1st Sun belt game.NT dominates in the SBC.

Big change of plans today.sorry for late post.

Vir Tech -20.5 over Conn....Conn will score but VT offense with randall and co are to much.Jones and WR's will be to much for Huskies to handle.
Beamer is not taking the Huskies lightly.He will go for the kill if he can.Conn does have a two prong attack but VT like I said before is a different breed.BC handled Conn.Wait until the Huskies get introduced to the Tech players and Jones.

North Texas -19 over la-Laf
NT defense will dominate the weak Cajun offense.NT offense with Cobbs back will score.NT offense is predictable.But Cajuns will have a have a tough time.NT still has 5 whiplash injuries from the Air Force running game.Dickey is waiting to pound someone his own size.And its Sun belt time.That means big win for the mean green..

Akron -15 over Buffalo
Zips have played a weak schedule and amassed big time yardage.Frye is tough and can throw.UB has no defense what so ever.They cannot tackle,stop the run or pass.Zips defense is avg.But offense can score.They did score 31 pts vs Wisky.
Zips win by 3 TD's. Best bet today.

Army +19.5 over So Fl....Was suspposed to go to game but can't.I took them thinking I'm sitting with Army brass and have to cheer for them.The line moved up to +19.5.
They did find their offense vs Tulane. So FL has had 3 weeks to prepare for Army.Black Nites have been outscored 69-6 in 1st half.2nd half 69-66.Thats unreal.They had 8 turnovers vs Tulane.
S.Fl has a talented Qb in Banks.Solid Rb's and 2 good WR's.Army OL is bad.DL puts no pressure on anyone.DB's have given up 13 TD's in the air.So Fl weakness is the rush defense.But Army can't run the ball.Jones did gain over 100 vs Tulane.
I'm closing my eyes and taking my Black Nites.This will be the only game they have a chance of winning.And they won't.Think maybe they cover.I'm undefeated playing Army.But this is a small play.

Navy-1.5 over Rutgers
Tough game to capp.Rutgers is more athletic and quicker.But they lost their top all purpose back Leonard.He's out.There kicking game is weak.They do have 2 dangerous KR's and PR's.
Navy has the flex with Candeto.I think their offense could give RU problems.RU offense with Hart has improved and Navy defense is suspect. But I like the mid-shipman.RU rush defense might have problems handling a flex.Navy handled TCU run pretty well.RU air game doesn't scare me. Navy can't kick or punt to RU backs.
Have to run.Will come back later.

NIU over ISU.. -6 4 boxes
Maryland -33.5 over EMU 4 boxes

Added So Florida -11 in the ist half vs Army.Not a big play.
Also Took Texas-Tulane over 63.5 and -29.
Tulane let Army's Dahman pass for over 308 yds and 2 tds.Army also ran the ball well vs weak Tulane defense.Jones looked like an all american running the ball.
Benson could gain 200 yds vs Tulane.BJ and Williams could have big days.Can't see Texas having any problems vs Green Wave defense.
Tulane does have Losman who can throw.Moore is a good running back.Lyr Texas won 49-0. I see the same type of score but think Tulane might get a td or two.
Also taking Texas -29 over Tulane.

Playing small boxes in some parlays and combos.
Boise St,Neveda,Wash St,Cuse,Arkansas,USC, Kentucky,San Diego St,Tenn,Texas AM, and Memphis.This are all half boxes...

I gotta be nuts going against a six box play:shrug: You sure were on the money with those Hokies Box and it looks like your big plays did real well today.

You had some real nice weather for the game on the Hudson as well........Think Army will cover one before Buffalo does. I was rooting for ya today but Army does have its troubles.

Things have been quiet lately up at FU. Hope Timmy comes out of this OK........
