Yankees Under 9 (-135)

Its very cold here in the area with off and on flurries. El duke looked solid in spring training. Posada and Ventura will have day off today with Castillo making his first start and Coomer for Ventura. Look for cold bats in this one:cool:

Good thinking

Good thinking

Weather is one of the biggest factors on cashing April totals tickets. It's pretty shitty in Milwaukee today with the Unit on the mound. May have a play on that later.

teddy

just a excellant call on that Yankees under.

I watched that game with interest. Its was much harder to hit
El Duke when its cold than it is at 80 degrees in florida.

I am learning..

NICE CALL!

Thanks for the kudos Scott! I was listening to their pregame show and they were saying how the tampa players had no clue what snow was when it started falling. Granted Alvarez should thank the weather, cuz the balls were hit hard but just died at the wall. Btw, I'm a HUGE DIE HARD atlanta falcon fan... see your from atlanta by your name. I think im the only Falcon fan in jersey. :( I cant wait to see my boys beat up in the Gints this year at the meadow lands :)

Stewy,

I could be wrong, but don't the Brewers play in a retracable ball park?

If they do then weather is not a factor there.

I do agree with the weather comment. It seems like you see this all the time in Chicago. They always have those day games with the wind blowing in, overcast, and misty rain. You always get that great shot of the 3rd base coach with the cubs hat on and the blue head tobagon that only allows you to see his eays.

Yes it is retractable

Yes it is retractable

But if you watched the game on satellite you would notice that it doesn't warm up in Miller Park when they pull the roof on. All the players still have long sleeves and blow in their hands, all the fans looked cold, and the broadcasters complaining about how cold it is inside.

Hey Teddy

I know this is a little off topic but as the NFL draft approachs who do you think the Falcons will get with the 17th pick?

They almost have to go with a offensive lineman to protect Vick. Dunn is going to help the running game alot with his speed it should be fun to watch finally. I think Finnerman shows up in a big way this year too. He really is going to be good.

I have been really inpressed with what Blank has done with the Falcons so far. For so many years we just wished Taylor Smith would sell , but the old man never would give in no matter how mishandled things got. Taylor senior is rolling over in his grave when the news trickled down to him that his kids had sold the falcons for 543 million. I bet they will regret that move in the future. When Blank gets done they will be worth a billion. But lets not get ahead of ourselves here.

Blank went to the players and asked them what they wanted from him. He had a players meeting and asked them. Their answer was ......a players lounge where we can play some pool, relax a little , .....and ....they are building the lounge as we speak. The guy knows how to run a organization ( Home Depot ) I notice he does like orange alot. There is a rumor that he may change the Falcons home jerseys to orange. Not sure if they would have to wear the little orange aprons or not.

I really dont care much for Dan Reeves and think Blank is letting him stay in the rebuilding year coming up. Wish we could have got Steve Spurrier. that would have been really good.

anyway Good Luck tonight !

I am on the cubbies with ya.
