Went 1-3 last nite.Pretty bad.Girls 1st


Conn -20.5 over UCSB **
Conn playing at Hartford.It's a home game for the Huskies.USCB got to play at home in their 1st round beating Houston.
Conn plays great defense,rebounds well and is probaly the best passing team including the "boys team" in the game .
Taurasi is the best player in the game.Geno has been on her case.Turner,Moore,Strother and the rest will have no problem with this west coast team.
Conn beat Penn and Auburn in the 1st round 91-55 and 79-53.
Auburn is better then USCB.Geno is not a happy camper.He will be on his girls all game.

St Joes +3 over Oklahoma St ***

Tough game to capp. Both teams have won 30 games.Not playing it strong.OSU could win this with there strength inside and perimeter outside.
But I'm going with the best gd tandem in America.Nelson and West.Then when teams can figure out how to slow these 2 guys Carroll is standing outside the arc waiting for a pass.Carroll gets that open look and "swish".Jones inside cannot stop the Cowboys frontline.McFarlan and Graham cause big time problems.But Cowboys have no 5 man.Its like all power fds hitting the glass.
Nelson gets the spotlight but Delonte is the dangerous one with his defense and shooting.I see a 1 or 2 pt game and Delonte on the foul line with 2 seconds left.You know he doesn't hit the rim on FT's.OSU plays great defense.Lucas,Allen,
St Joes wins a squeaker.

Conn -9 over Bama ***
Another tough game.Bama's speed could give UConn problems.But Huskies on defense can shut people down and they can score.They have that inside-outside attack with Okafor and Ben.They have been winning by an 18 pt avg.
Conn is playing the best b-ball of the season.Boone,Brown,etc.
At this pt in the season they are playing on all cylinders.
Bama is so athletic and with greyhounds everywhere.But they don't have a post player.So defending Okafor could be a problem.But bama has such perimeter quickness that it could cause problems in the beginning.
But I think at some pt Ben will get this loaded team going and bama's bubble burst.Conn wins by 12-15 pts.

Woman

Texas -7.5 over LSU ****
Like Lady Longhorns tonite over LSU.Lyr Texas won the regions beating LSU by 18.And Texas has 4 starters returning plus has one of the top frosh in the nation in Jackson.Texas is faster and has a little more strength.LSU has 3 good gds.Schreiber had 32 vs LSU. Conradt going back to final 4.Texas wins this by double digits.

Purdue -6 over Georgia ***
Wright is unstopable.can shoot,slash,etc.Purdue has some scoring gds.Dawgs have Thomas inside but thats not enough.Purdue wins this big
