my wife this weekend pursuaded me to see a movie that i had no interest in seeing.....only because it was a foreign film (dutch) & i dislike movies that have sub-titles.
the name of the movie is "black book" & imo it's the best movie i have seen in the past few years...
it's a spy movie based on a true story about a dutch woman living in holland during ww2. she joins the underground resistance & inflitrates the nazi army as a spy & becomes a mistress of an ss commander......this movie has everything....sex, nudity,bloodshed, & intrigue.
there will be no justice if this movie doesn't get nominated for an oscar for best movie (not just best foreign film).
take my word for it...this is not the average"run of the mill" garbage that hollywodd churns out just to make a buck...this movie actually has a story & is really worth seeing....
