Your both right. Leak as of now is more proven than Booty. Booty as a junior in high school was much better than Leak was as a senior in high school. It is a unanimous decision among the recruiting world. I do not mean to diss Leak in any way. Booty is just better than Leak in every aspect. Arm strength, accuracy, football smarts, everything. I also seen him in practice and he is the real deal.
By the way, Peterson does not smoke Reggie Bush. Reggie Bush was put on a list of top 100 players of college football this year before he even played a down. Lets see if Peterson makes the list. Reggie Bush is also listed as a candidate to win the Heisman next year along with 2 other USC players. You obviously have not seen Bush play at USC, because he is something VERY special. You got to be the only fan in the nation that does not see it. He will win a heisman at USC. Bush runs the ball, catches out of backfield, lines up at WR, returns punts and kickoffs. DOES EVERYTHING EXCEPTIONALLY WELL WITH WORLD CLASS SPEED AND MOVES! I take Bush over anybody in the nation, but Peterson I would give the nod over the other 3 USC RB's but not by much. USC is scary good at RB and pretty much everywhere.
AS FOR WR DAVIS FROM OHIO, I now think he will be going to OSU although this kid is off the wall. He keeps delaying his decision and his coach is an ass. USC i been hearing will be getting verbal from WR JARRET and COLVIN so I doubt Davis comes to USC. I heard Davis and Jarret been keeping an eye on each other. USC had in home with Jarett and Jaret LOVES mike williams and USC was his childhood favorite. I think Jarret is the better WR now but Davis has more potential. Colvin is awesome too, and the all star coaches said Colvin was the best of the 3. I disagree but thats what he said. Very interesting how this all plays out. USC wants all 3, 99% of the teams in the nation would be happy with just 1 of them. I be estatic if USC gets 2/3 so then USC will not have any set backs if Mike Williams leaves for NFL after next year.
USC, OHIO ST. and MICHIGAN (i think Miami is out) are competing for these 3 WR's.
Reason I said I think it might be Peterson is for 3 reasons. Peterson loved USC and OU, but at OU he had far less competition than USC and Peterson loved OU before USC. No suprise he chose OU.
OU just recruited the #6 national RB and Peterson was told he would be the only RB taken.
Lastly, he verballed to OU before OU got smoked by KSU and lossed to LSU. 2 bad losses in a row. Not so glamerous anymore. I know the rumor is 5 star recruit who might decommit and come to USC and shock recruiting world. That is my guess, but these so called recruiting bombs are often "duds."
