It's ok. I know that it is sometimes hard to admit that something you've believed in is false. There are 12 step programs out there to help you, though. Probably a big government assistance program you can apply to as well to get it covered.

I do not understand why people believe that it is better to be taken care of, rather than taking care of one's own self. I pay my own health insurance, I save for my own retirement. i do not plan on ever seeing one dime of the money I have paid into SS. I do not expect the government or anyone else to take care of me. Why should anyone be guaranteed healthcare or pension benefits at the cost of another person?
I am beholden to NO ONE and in that manner, I am truly free.
