21-0 with 4:13 to go in the 1q. I placed a small wager with one of my buddies, at 2-1 odds, that SC would have the spread covered by halftime. At this point I'm thinking they will have it covered by 5 or so to go in the 1h? :shrug:

This probably makes me sound insane, but I've watched every Wazzu game this year. I honestly can't remember the last time a team was this bad. If SC really wanted to, they could probably score 100 points in this game. Not only that, they could probably cover the spread with their 3rd string.

Yeah, not sure why would you go for it on 4th and 7 there. I know it's because Wazzu can't stop them, but that doesn't make Carroll look too great.
41-0 with 5 to go in the half. I'm guessing the starters won't play a minute in the 2h. Then again, it's Pete Carroll, so they may not come until the 4th quarter. :mj07:
Wow! I lose my bet by one point because SC just lets the clock run out at the end of the half??? I've never seen that before, and never would have expected it from Carroll of all people. 2h will be the most boring half of college football ever played.
I think it's a tough call actually. SC has already quit on this game as evidenced by just running the ball every play at the end of the half and not even trying to score. I expect a ton of running plays in the 2h, which will chew the clock. Both teams know it's over so I don't expect much effort from either team.
