On the course!
I have mulled this over, and need some feedback:

Arizona is +130 to win the series.

Now, if Schilling wins game 1, those odds will drop. Put Johnson in the mix to win, and now they are 2-0 going to New York.

At 0-2, New York has to be a sizeable dog to win, right?

Thus, the shot at a scalp.

Now, of course, you still need Az to win the 1st two games.

Do you think this would be worth a shot?

I was thinking about this as well, check out my thoughts in the 'Tidbit' thread started by KCWolf.

Wouldn't Yanks already be a small dog if Ariz wins game 1?

I think this strategy allows you the chance to make some 'free' money while letting the series play out a bit before committing to a side. Sorta like a bet on Ariz game 1 without the juice.

Of course if the Yanks win in game 1, it's all over.......

Now.....I can't wait to see the line on NY winning!

Should be, what.....+350 or more?

I still think the yanks can tie the series up at 2-2, and the money I stand to make on them winning, will be sweet!

Nothing better than a free shot at cash!

Not trying to be dense, but I would hate to miss out on "free money". Are y'all saying that you take NY now to win the series because they will be a heavy dog. Then, when they go home for the next two games they will probably win...thus, tying the series at 2-2. At that point, you then can be on AZ to win the series because the odds will have shifted back to NY to win the series and AZ will be a dog? I guess, by doing this you can play even money on both sides as dogs and you are guaranteed to win.

Hate to be dumb...just a little confused.

Thx.

No Howie, I already have Arizona.

I took them before the series started at +133

Now, with a 2-0 lead, NY becomes a heavy dog to win. The thing is, I think NY will win the series!

So, I have Arizona at +133, and I will now take the Yanks at +220 (I can't believe it is this low, but I think I know why it is.)

With a modest $200 on Arizona to win $266, I will now put $200 on NY to win $440

I will make $66 or $240.....Not a bad return for investing $400 for a week!

GO YANKS!

nice job yyz...still kicking myself for not doing this, which was my initial thoughts on the series.

think i still got a shot to play yanks as a dog now and then Ariz when series tied 2-2???

Too dangerous.

We have to figure NY wins tomorrow, but after that, who can say?

I would not risk it now.
