I know you probably don't have power or phone service or internet service, etc.... and you have more important things to worry about, but I'm hoping you get somewhere that has working utilities and will check in or e-mail me or call my cell, call collect if you have to, I don't care.

Probably over-reacting here, but getting worried just a bit.

Have some friends from Cutoff, La., where Schouest is from, and they're back in their house today. No power, but not excessive damage. Some water damage (no flooding), shingles off roof, trees uprooted. Their post office and library are ruined. Currently hosting our cousins from New Orleans.
They don't know anything about their home or if they still have one. They evacuated early, so they are safe. Property is one thing but safety and well-being are the most important. We'll find out more as the days progress. Good luck to everyone affected by the hurricane.

Thanks for bumping this up Agent, I really didn't want to bother everyone everyday by doing it, but I will till I hear someting, ANYTHING from him.

At this point I am just hoping it's a case of him not having power or internet access or cell phone service, but won't feel good about it till I hear from him obviously.

Nothing yet, I know it's probably just a power issue and lack of transportation to somewhere he can get in touch with me, but I still can't help but be worried.

I tried e-mailing a friend of his who lives a bit farther West and got no response as of yet either.

Hopefully all is well and I'll hear from him soon enough.
