She's been listening to the Republican Senators who are saying they will take their direction from the WH and they do not need to hear any testimony and she's decided to play her own little game. Let the President and the American people stew on the impeachment for awhile. You know she's doing the right thing when Trump and the right wing nuts lose their minds.

This stew has been cooking for three years just to keep the smell in the air. It's had so many ingredients added to it,it's lost it's flavor. She's afraid Trump will be acquitted and then where do they go? Start another investigation? Have another hearing? These phony founding father, god abiding references are really rich coming from these bozos as they have done nothing but harm to the country.

Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq Close at Records as Wall Street Shrugs at Trump Impeachment

Stocks set closing and intraday records Thursday even after the House of Representatives voted to impeach President Donald Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of justice

The three major indexes set closing and intraday records even after the House of Representatives voted to impeach President Donald Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of justice.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished up 137 points, or 0.49%, to 28,376.82, the S&P 500 climbed 0.44% to 3,205.34, and the Nasdaq rose 0.67% to 8,887.22. The Nasdaq has risen for seven straight sessions.

The impeachment process has had little effect on Wall Street since it's widely expected the Senate won't vote to remove Trump from office.

Stocks ended narrowly mixed Wednesday, with the Nasdaq setting an all-time closing high, while the Dow and S&P 500 each slipped after closing at records Tuesday. The lower closes for the Dow and S&P 500 put an end to their five-day winning streaks. The S&P 500, however, did reach an all-time intraday high during the session.

NOT my definition of shit stain.

This proves he is inconsequential to the market. It was rising before he got in office and it's been rising despite his foreign trade blunders.

I know you struggle with facts but the impeachment didn't become a thing until Trump tried to bribe a foreign leader for personal political gain and shut down the funding Congress approved. Those are the two things he is being impeached for.

The reason impeachment has been talked about since he has been in office is because he's a complete fuck up. The Mueller investigation resulted in several Trump associates GOING TO JAIL. He tried to cover up hush money payments to multiple women. He's been accused of sexual misconduct while in office by multiple women. His charity was shut down and he had to pay $2M in fines for DEFRAUDING VETERANS. He continues to run his personal businesses while in office. He refuses to handover his tax returns despite House requests (is that legal?) to explain how he used $66M of his own money to finance his campaign. Two Ukranians with deep ties to Trump and Giulinani have been arrested for campaign finance fraud (guess who they were giving the money to). His lawyer is in jail and his current one will be soon. That's what I have on the top of my head, lol!

Yeah, he's clean as a whistle! :mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07:

What do dems have to offer?

Someone that didn't run a bunch of businesses into the ground.
Someone that didn't declare bankruptcy multiple times.
Someone that won't choose Putin over the NSA, FBI and CIA.
Someone who's campaign team won't end up in prison.
Someone who's personal lawyer isn't in jail.
Someone who will provide their tax returns.

No promises on not using a foreign power to help them win an election. Since the Republicans are setting precedent, might as well follow suit. AMIRITE?

If I was Bloomberg, I'd be talking about how much better of a businessman I am. How I didn't run companies into the ground and didn't go bankrupt a bunch of times. I'd say I'm using my own money to finance my campaign, not money from Russia, and tell them you can see my tax returns to prove it since I have nothing to hide.

He's not my favorite, but he has the most leverage.
