If you are playing the political short game, it absolutely makes sense. Biden needs some wins but I don't understand the risks. This doesn't seem like an emergency situation and I don't know what % of the reserves would be consumed, but if Biden wants something to help his approval rating this is it.
It?s just a matter of consumer confidence in terms of tapping reserves. It?s the rest of what he speaking about that makes sense. We shouldn?t be handicapping our petro energy sector at this point in time. Yes, we should be super funding, like we already are, alternative measures, but stark reality is we will not run out of oil by the end of the century, And our impact on the environment is and has been overblown for quite some time. Global time climate change is real, obviously we contribute to warming, but let?s keep our pants on have common sense energy policy and move forward comfortably without crippling ourselves today with an AI towards the future. I like where Schumer is in that regard. Well done by him.
You're saying climate change is real and humans are contributing to it, but you just aren't willing to do anything about it. I think that's the conservative mantra. Eventually, we're going to be having some serious issues but I'm sure deregulation and putting people in charge of the EPA that want the EPA vanquished will be the answer, lol.
