Ok answer me this:
I understand that you cannot challenge a scoring play, or else it becomes "unchallengable"....like we saw yesterday...
But with forsett being clearly down, everyone knew it before he even scored.....schwartz even said "I threw the flag as soon as he started running again"....
Replay shows he threw the flag before forsett ever touched the endzone....
So if schwartz challeneged it before it was a scoring play, doesn't that mean he challenged correctly.....he didn't know he would eventually score....
Such a dumb rule, and this just complicates it more....
I know it doesn't happen very often, but on multiple ocasions I have seen a coach challenge before the conclusion of the play....
This rule is so dumb, I cannot quit thinking how a billion dollar corporation, allows for rules like this.....
I believe airportis said it yesterday, if you are going to have replay, allow everything to be reviewable.....the purpose is to get calls correct.....although numerous times we have seen instant replay fail, including yesterdays mess....
I don't know just think it sucks that detroit lost that game when schwartz challenged a play that wasn't a "scoring" play at the time...
