Blazers' thread gave me idea.

Some old friends (yes, I do have some) and I are going to Scottsdale, Arizona next Thursday (3/20/03) for golf, corona, and cubans. No wifes, just 12 guys hangin out for a long weekend and tellin a bunch of lies.

Our golf is set as well as where we are stayin. Need advice on where to oogle babes (all of us are married but, none cheat, except in our hearts) in bikinis and at bars. Ive heard the Phoenician is a good place.

Remember some of us are Gen x but most boomers. However, we like to look and flirt with anything legal but under 45. Any advice?

not a bad place to go-

not a bad place to go-

You cannot go wrong in North Scottsdale-not real knowledgable of club scene, but you must eat at P.F. Changs on N.Scottsdale Rd.-an even better idea would be to buy a guest pass for golf and spa at Gainey Ranch, also on N.Scottsdale. You will see some unbelievable things there!!Have fun.

Eddie,

Where are you staying while in Scottsdale?

Of course I wouldn't know anything about it since I am married, but a few places that I have noticed a few babes at restaurants in N. Scottsdale such as Marco Polo,& Barcelona. But if you want to oogle babes I think per square foot the best place to see the babes is in downtown Scottsdale where there are clubs & many restaurants. Also if you want to go into Phoenix, a good place is around Camelback Rd. & 24th st. area.
The Phoenician is a 5 star hotel, but never noticed many babes.PF Changs is one of my favorite places & while there are babes dont think you will find enough to entertain 12 guys.

If you are up to meeting for a few drinks, let me know since I live in N. Scottsdale. Have a feeling we are around the same age.

Also let me know if you need more info.

Ed,

You picked a good place to swing the club my man, Jenna Jameson lives in that fine city and I am sure you will want to see her first hand if ya know what I am saying.

Now I know you got 20 years on me, but I think you will do us proud by showing Jenna what a MADJACKER is all about.

Throw her several Corona's and a few stogies and all should be fine....

Enjoy!

AR182,

I'm looking at moving into the Scottsdale area within the next couple years. Close to becoming a licensed CPA. Any knowledge of some credible accounting firms in the area? As well, any suggestions you could give me on living arrangements would be great. What can I expect in the Scottsdale area overall?

Spits,

I will be more than happy to speak to my accountant to see if he can recommend a firm or two that might be hiring.
When you are ready I will help you any way that I can.Fletcher has set the standard for hospitality for traveling Madjackers & I will try to live up to his level.

Ask Jack for my e-mail address.

AR182,

Thanks for your help. Like I said it will still be some time before I actually complete the examination to become licensed as a CPA in Michigan and then transfer it over to Arizona. However, any leads you could give me to accountants or firms in the area I';m sure would help in the long run.

Thanks again!

SPITS.

Spits,

Let me know whenever you are ready. Just e-mail me.

I started out as an accounting major in college & dropped it the 2nd year because I found it not to be for me. Good luck on your tests.

Eddie In defense of the over 45 chicks I think they merit consideration and possibly an advantage.

They don't yell
They don't tell
They don't swell
--and they're greatful as hell.;)

Gentlemen:

Thanks for the response. Ar182 we have rented 3 condos at a place called Kierland Greens. We were trying to get into a resort that used to be McCormack Ranch, I think its now called Millenium, but it was sold out. Appartently we will be in your fair city during the height of high season and spring break.

We were gonna play Troon but I was told greens fees were aroung $350.00. A little steep for this ambulance chasing lawyer. Guess I'll have to raise my contingency fee rate from 33 1/3% to 40%.

wcb4, thanks. Will put P.F. Changs (N. Scottsdale Road) and Gainey Ranch on my list. Likewise AR182, Marco Polo and Barcelona. Thanks for the tip. If your a golfer any comments on these courses: Sun Ridge Canyon, Las Sendas and The Raven. Would like to hook up for a cocktail. Were gonna try and catch some cactus league games while were there also.

Thanks Time, but Jenna's a little below my standards. I prefer quality women like Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Obviously, kidding.

Eddie,

Kierland is newer place that has a golf course. You are coming to the area in prime-yime season where the golf courses charge out of sight prices. There are a few municiple golf courses that are still very nice.Let me know if you need their names & phone numbers. I would try to call for appointments for teeing off, because you might be backed up.

Kierland is about 4.5 miles SW of Troon. I live about .5 south of Troon. Around the Kierland area is the PF Changs that wcb4 mentioned in his post. Almost next door to Changs is a Starbucks & down further is a CheeseCake Factory. Diagonally across Scottsdale Road is the Barcelona Restaurant that I previously mentioned. There should be babes walking around the area & they should be overflowing at Barcelona.
Unfortunately I can't play golf because of a chronic back condition but a book that I keep at my desk lists Las Sendas Golf Club is located in Mesa, Az.---fees range between $64-$160---Phone # 480-369-4000. McCormick Ranch Golf Course costs about $75-$130, phone # is 480-948-0260. Don't know about the other two. Again I would schedule where you want to play asap even during the week.

Ask Jack for my e-mail address if you want to hook up for a drink or two & if you need any more info.
