Enjoyed a rather profitable week LW at 8-2 ATS.
Would love nothing better than to continue the winning streak but with the looks of this weeks card.... ????

NYG 3 Was

If this was the only game on the board I would take the 3. But obviously it isn't and I aint. Unless of course something comes up to change my mind.

'Skins are seeking revenge (so are no less than 12 teams the week) They lost in OT at Washington despite over 450 yards in offense. They dropped their last 3 games by 3, 1, & 4 pts.

NY is 10-3 ATS hosting Washington and 14-7 ATS as a December host. Still wouldn't bet them with Monopoly money.
G-Men in their last 4 HGs have failed to top 10 pts. Unreal.

'Skins +3 or nuttin honey

-----------------------

BAL 3? Cin

I got Baltimore at -3 and no less than 20 minutes later the line increased to 3.5.

Ravens "D" held the Niners to 10 FDs & have held 8 of their last 11 foes under 19 pts.
Offensively QB Wright has 6 TDs in the last 6 quarters.

Chalk is now 10-2-1 ATS when the Ravens take the field.

Cincy is on a 8-1 spread run as well as a 6-1 SU run but are 2-9 off a cover at Pittsburgh.

Baltimore is an impressive 11-1 ATS as series host & 10-1 ATS in 2nd meeting with Cincy.

Tattoo:
Boss !! The Play the play...Ravens !! :brows:

----------------------

PHI 5? Dal

Seven !! Count 'em SEVEN straight wins & COVERS for the Eagles.
The longest single season streak for Philly since 1980, was the only year that the Eagles made it to the Big Game. Just in case anyone asks.

McNabb has only thrown 1 INT in his last 5 games & the "D" has held 6 of the last 7 foes under 18 pts.

Dallas' "D" however gave up 41 pts to the NFLs 27th rated "O" after holding 7 of their previous 9 foes to less than 18 pts.

Chalk is 7-1-1 ATS in Dallas games & the revenger in this series is a 12-4 ATS play.

Philly is a perfect 6-0 ATS in December vs foe off a loss & 11-3 ATS in division revenge.

Play Eagles -5.5

-------------------------

PIT 5 Oak

I would pick weeds out of my garden before I waste my time on this nasty affair.

PASS

-----------------------

DET 3 Sdg

Detriot is favored for the 2nd time this year. The first time was Week 1 vs the Cardinals where they rolled 42-24.

Lions are 7-1 ATS off a Thanksgiving Day win & 16-3 ATS as hosts off home win.

Trend of the Week...
Play on any NFL team who won SU Thursday & covered by 4 or more pts vs a foe off a loss. Since 1980 26-5. Play on Lions.

Much like the'Skins play. Lions or nutt'in. 'Cept Lions are favored and are at home. =)

----------------------------

GRB 7 Chi

Da Bears are red-hot. They are 4 pts from a 9-0 spread run & 6 pts from a 6-0 SU run, covering their last RG by 19.5 pts.

Packers are 1 game in back of Minny & can't afford another slip. They are 10-4 ATS home vs foe off win & 16-6 ATS as December host.

Da Bears are 6-22 ATS on the December road.

Pack or PASS

---------------------

MIN 1? Sea

Six !! Count'em SIX straight wins & COVERS by Minny to open the season, but 1-5 SU & 0-6 ATS since. Pee-U.

Seahogs has allowed 33 ppg in its last 4 RGs & 6-13-2 ATS as a dog of less than 5.5 pts.

PASS

---------------------

JAX 4? Hou

Off board.
Be advised Houston is 0-7 ATS off a win & cover. Sure Houston has 6 wins but none by more than 4 pts.

Jags have a score to settle here.

----------------------

TEN 3? Ind

Hoping for a 3 here, that may never come.
Regardless this is a HUGE revenge game for the Titans who were mauled 33-7 by these Colts in Week 2. That one was a perfect setup for Indy who caught Tennessee of its emotional win over Oakland on a Sunday Nighter.

Indy followed up that win with wins by 10 & 34 pts, but have only a single win by more than a TD & that by a mere 9 pts hosting Houston.

Titans are 6-1 ATS in this series & 18-9 ATS vs .500+ teams.

Revenge Tennessee style...:director: Play Titans

-----------------------

NOR 1? Tam

Not going here.

----------------------

SFO 9? Arz

'Zona has lost by at least 13 pts SU in 9 of its last 10 RGs & is on a 1-10 spread slide on the road.
'Zona is 1-13 ATS vs foe off a DD spread setback.
Also their leading sack leader has been suspended by the NFL for the rest of the season.

Lock & load baby. :firing: Play 49ers -9.5

-------------------

BUF 3 Nyj

JETS are a perfect 8-0 ATS off Mondays & are a 7-1 ATS spread series play.

Catching the JETS off their Monday Nighter is definitely a plus for the Bills. But dammit Jan et I neea DOG play here.

All these "favorite plays" are making my stomach twist around like a pretzel.
Play J E T S + 3 There now I feel a little better. :yup

---------------------

NWE 3 Mia

Eight !! Count'em EIGHT straight wins for the Patsies & they hold a 2-game lead over the Fins.

Patsies are on a stellar 9-1-1 ATS & check this, they've allowed only 3 ppg in their last 3 HGs.

New England is 15-4 ATS in December divsion play while Miami is a complete opposite at 5-20 as same.

My stomach hurts again.
Play Patsies -3

---------------------

DEN 2 Kan

Here comes the Denver money Line opened at a Pick'em only to see it shoot up to 2.5 in some places here in Vegas.
Denvers "D" ranks 2nd in the NFL and Portis ia a legimate force (170 yards LW in Oakland)

Broncos are 15-5 ATS at home vs .625 pct or better foes & allowing only 13 ppg in 5 of its last HGs.

Payback. But no action for me, thank you

-------------------

Car 1? ATL

What's that you say ?
Where is the "Insane Play of the Week??"
Well look no further Gentlemen cause your looking at it.
What's so Insane about a game that only offers a 1.5 pt spread you say ? Well for starters the Falcons 0-6 Su & ATS at home (35-22 ppg deficit) additionally they are 1-6-1 ATS as a December Pup. Falcons managed just 3 pts & 11 FDs in the 1st meeting with the Panthers.

Bet the Falcons ? SC you are Insane.

But check this ..
the dog is a profitable 10-2 ATS in Carolina games this year. Falcons are 6-1 ATS as series host & should take full advantage of the return of Vick, who just may put on a show for ESPN viewers.

Me: "Well okay it's not that Insane" :nooo:
Play Falcons, who get the win.

--------------------

Stl 4? CLE

You: "Okay Capper we want a real Insane Play!!!"

Well don't touch that dial!!
Here we have two teams going in opposite directions.

Brownies front 4 dropping like pigeon poop after a popcorn feast.

Cleveland at just 4-8 are in need of a miracle to reach the playoffs.
Neither QB has proved themselves a true leader. Mainly because neither one are.
They have only topped 14 pts in only 2 of 6 HGs.

Rams are again among the elite reaching 30 pts 7 of their last 10 games & own the 6th rated "O" in the NFL

A true Insane Play....Brownies + whatever & a dab on the moneyline
-------------------

Best to all this week. I, for one, may need it.

SC

62-44-3 YTD

Soon as my stomach pain subsides I will post my final plays.
Obviously I'm NOT gonna play mucho mucho favorites. :nono:

Senor Capper,

I for one think EVERY one of those picks are solid...yes, even the Brownian ones. My only quibble is on SF where I'll take the points with the hapless Cards. And I like the Saints.

Like you, I'll be banging the Rolaids though.

Good luck!

Good luck, SC.

Really don't like Atlanta tho.....Sure Vick can throw, run, scrample, involve players, invent plays with the best of them.
But one thing he can't do on this Falcons team? Play defense!
Davis runs for 150+ and Carolina control the game and win easily! (Which for them is the bare 3, but still enough here! :D )

Senor, Given the numbers you posted on the Rams/Brownies game, why do you think the Browns will pull this one out? They can't even decide on who's their real QB from wk to wk...

Agree

the Brownies are a mess.
Rams have won every game at home but have struggled on the road. Given the recent performance of HDs and the poor road performance of the Rams, getting more than a FG gives the Brownies an excellent chance to cover.

Actually I like 'em outright. But love to get a 6 & by gametime I surely will. Shirley ;)

I too LOVE the Saints. Done bet 'em already. But the Niners -9.5 is still a strong play for me.

Senor,

Here is a story you can appreciate. I just recently moved to Dallas a little over a month ago to take a position as Sales Manager for a new book distribution company. Last Thursday the president said that we have our financial backer Lamar coming by to visit. I get in and start working for a while, get up to go to another office when my president says, stop and minute and meet Lamar. Well it was 30 degrees here Friday so I still had my Titans jacket on. I stop and introduce myself to Lamar. He says nice to meet you, I hear you have been doing a great job for us but I can't say that I appreciate your jacket.

You guessed it, I am talking to Lamar Hunt Jr! I say that I know who his team is and they are doing OK this year :D He shows me a watch that he got for the World Championship back in 1970 that he had made. I would guess that he is early to mid 40's. We spoke about football for a while, of course he is impressed with Steve McNair but said we have no running game. Every body is on poor old Eddie George. Told him it looks like we may be facing each other in the playoffs. Maybe we could have a little wager like my $5 against his, wait what would be fair on his amount  :thefinger

Got another funny story concerning his father will share later

...which would mean he was about 10 when he won that World Championship. :D :D

Hey Senor,

I like the Ravens and Browns picks. I think the Browns, even though they are a mess, will win this game. I know, crazy thought.

I did take the Saints -1.5 and thik the Colts will cover.

Good luck.
