Did awful on side plays last week. I did however come in 2nd in the Palms Employee Contest going 13-3 w/o the spread, played the total of 33 & picked up 5 large bones. Would've a been a dime but some chick took Washington and went 14-2. :cursin:

One early play........

Tennessee Titans +5.5 @ New Orleans Saints
Two teams going in opposite directions. I know people who have the Aints, as well as the Eagles, going to the big game. :mj07:

Who would have thought that Brees would be 26th among NFL starters? Not I.

Saints just 208 RYS so far & a 6-1 TO deficit in starting 41-10 & 31-14 losses.
That's 24.5 & 20.5 pt spread losses !!! :scared
They're 2-8 ATS as a chalk off a DD loss.

Titans are currently on a 12-3 ATS spread run, with 419-153 RY edge for the season and are 12-3 ATS as dogs vs. the NFC.

The UNDERDOG has covered 10 for 10 games involving Tennessee.

TENNESSEE TITANS +5.5 & moneyline

I see Brownies +3.5 -105 at the Wynn & may have to hit that.

Dammit, I was initially looking at laying it BIG on N.O. !! But now I'm having second thoughts since you are a superior handicapper compared to my sorry azz. I understand what you're saying about these ATS trends, but I am actually looking at it from a different point of view. I am one of those fools who believes in the 'law of averages'. The more games in a row a team covers the spread, the more I'm looking at betting against them the next week, since no team can continue covering forever. Just looking at this season, we see that N.O. is 0-2 ATS and Tennessee is 2-0 ATS. The way I see it, Tennessee is 'due' for a letdown and N.O. is 'due' for a cover. Also, since it's only Week 3, N.O. probably still feels they can be contenders this season and what a perfect chance to make a statement by playing at home for the first time this season on a Monday Night. I guess I'll just wait and see where the line is at in the next few days......

Lanny, Tenn. and Vince Young are AWESOME as DOGS...
? Is this Youngs 1st MNF game of his career ?
iF so, He is a big game performer.
Side note ; Reggie Bush has a bit of REVENGE for losing to TEXAS and Vince Young in the Rose Bowl  just another thought ( it's what I do ) also , if this # stays at -5, i've noticed, favs don't seem to cover a -5 pt spread to often.
Most will expect N.O. to win this game at home.
I think Tenn. is a play. Hooks

Based on the line movement, it seems like more people are backing the Titans and I usually like to go against the public. After watching the Titans-Colts game this past weekend, I can honestly say the close score did not really reflect how the game went. The Colts were moving the ball AT WILL against the Titan's D the WHOLE GAME. There was a missed FG and PAT by the Colts. The Colts could have easily put up 30+ points in this game. N.O. is due for an offensive explosion and this could be the perfect scenario for this to happen: first HOME game on a Monday night. And although the Saints' secondary has been absolutely HORRIBLE, I'm not sure if Vince Young and his WRs can take advantage the way Manning/Harrison/Wayne did in Week 1 and Garcia/Galloway did this past week. I'm looking at a 27-20 score. If the line keeps dropping, N.O. will be a strong pick for me. However, if the line stays at 5.5 to 6, I may pass.....

Looza good luck in your other games LOL

Hooks nice to see we agree!!

jmizeus thank you sir & best to you whatever you do 'cept if your backing the Aints. :nono:

San Francisco 49ers @ Pittsburgh Steelers -8.5
49ers coming in off a big road win. Steelers coming in off a blowout at home.
Everything I read is pointing towards SF & that Pittsburgh just may come out flat in this game.

Add Steelers are 12-21 as Favs vs the NFC and we have a...

Nsane Play of the Day....

PITTSBURGH STEELERS -8.5

Like the Steelers play for two reasons, 49ers simply aren't very good and west coast teams playing in that early game don't respond well.

Senor Capper,

I definitely agree with your Cleveland pick! Looks like Cleveland is +3 at most places so you are lucky if you got it at +3.5. I am probably going to end up putting this game on a two game teaser.
