I am just wondering what I am missing on the total for this game.
I see it at 8 OV -130 and if you look at these 2 pitchers this total seems either right or a little high, what am I missing????

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you have any opinion on the Bos game. I think I like Bos and the over.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
I like Boston and over too. but don't want to predict when Boston losing streak ends, don't like the juice, knuckleballers like Sparks pretty unpredictable (except when he's at Safeco!), and HP ump here has been kind to both pitchers in past-- it could go under.

so laying off here too.

i too went with boston over again today. hp ump meriwether, while his o/u stats are fairly neutral this year, has strike zone numbers that rival those of the top "over" umps. his games average 11.13 k/g, 76th out of 77 umps, and 8.72 bb/g, 2nd out of 77. that gives him the lowest k/bb ratio in the majors, and his runs/game and hr/g averages are among the top 10 also. he's been one of the best over umps in years past and i feel he is due for a string of overs as he has not really altered his strike zone this year but is only 9-8 to the over so far. those numbers just scream ready for statistical correction/regression imo.
