First off.......I'm still not over that Orl/Chi game last Tuesday night. AGAIN, AM SORRY I TALKED FOLKS INTO THAT LOOSER......if I'd have only known Hill wouldn't play and Grant was done....o'well.

You just knew Olrando would kill Golden State on Friday night....BUT....I couldn't bring myself to post it or play it.

The trouble capp'n the Magic is.......you never know which of those "softies" is going to have a sore toe, sore ankle, sore back or some sore something that screws ya!

Tonight, McGrady is reported as "out" after a nice Kobe "elbow" in the back.....yeah I bet that did hurt. And with Orlando playing the suns tonight in a b-to-b......that pussy Hill probably won't be play'n either (just like last Tue. against Chic).

Doc Rivers has a bunch of soft, injury prone players and Hill ranks up there with some of the NBA's most "overrated". Orlando would be a more stable team without Hill on their team.

Hey.....good luck if ya try and figure out the Magic/Suns game tonight!!

--------------------------------------------------

Here's a game I looked at and am looking for comments...........Sea/Clev

-At first glance......Sea comes in play'n their 5th in 7 days (all 5 on the road)!

-Clev will be playing their 3rd in 4 days and fresh off a "big" win over Denver.....any win for Lucas is a "big" win!

-You would think Seattle's shooting legs will weary tonight. In their last 4 on the road:

*78 Det
*91 Tor
*92 Philly
*80 NY

-However.....the top 10 college teams would score 90+ against this Clev defense. In their last 10 they have allowed:

*101 to the lowest scoring team in the NBA Den
*115 Bost
*83 Tor who has been killed with injuries
*140 Mil
*112 Chi
*101 Chi
*125 NY
*85 Mia what a challenged offensive bunch
*106 Philly
*112 Mil

108.3 ppg average against the Cavs in last 10!!!!

-That's giving a lot of points and the reason we see an opening total line of 198' in this one.

-Offensively Clev seems to have gotten it together since Ricky Davis was suspended for 2 games and Dajuan Wagner has begun finding his way around the NBA.

-Since being suspended Davis has scored:

*27 Den
*42
*22
*45
*27
*26 Chi

-In the last 10 Wagner has scored somewhat erratically:

*29 Den
*3
*33
*7
*18
*29
*25
*28
*29
*5 Mil

-However, 2 of Wagner's 3 single digit games were on the road......showing he's still a rookie.

-I like the fact Hill is "questionable" tonight as Clev will miss the "defense" he brings to this team.....while only loosing an 8 ppg average if he doesn't play.

So.......

Will the Sonics have the late game legs to score?

Will Wagner have a "single" digit game?

Will Davis keep up his 31' ppg average since the suspension?

Will the Cavs' continue to play without defense?

Let me hear your comments in this thread before I post my take. Thanks ez

One thing I forgot to mention...........

One thing I forgot to mention...........

I watched that Sea/Det game on Sat. night. Payton was totally frustrated by the non-calls in that game. The refs were just allowing guys going to the hoop both ways to get killed!

Seattle could only manage 78 points against that hack'n Det defense. Sonics normally average about 94 ppg but not even close on Saturday.

Will the refs make the calls to allow a smoother offensive flow for tonight?

It didn't seem to me that the Sonics were really winded in that Det game.......it was slow and physical because the refs let 'em bump and grind.

Very little fast, uptempo breaking.....which IMHO would drain more from the Sonic legs for tonight's tout.

Any thoughts guys......I'm interested in your takes. ez

I see the game in the 200's.

I see the game in the 200's.

Currently the line is below 200. I am not sure about the line. Both teams have been pretty inconsistent. I know one thing though, allowing Denver to score 104 points is astounding in itself. I can't see betting the under. If you like the over, then I would take it early. I can only guess that the line will creep over 200 by the time the game starts. Good luck and great to see you back EZTDS.

i'll take talent AND experience against up-and-coming inexperienced talent any day....SONICS are solid....CLE is up and down....PLUS....neither team has any real inside presence to speak of....sooooooooooo....i really think that Sea -5.5 is a solid play!!!

good luck!!!

First of all this game capps 6-10 points under the 198. The only reason this line is so high is because of the Mil game last week and unless you allow for that game you are going to get a bad picture. Here's the question you have to answer. Will tired legs mean the jump shots come up short, (a lower than normal score) or slow to react d, a higher score? I would say that since both teams are made up of jumpshooters the chance of it going under is greater than the over. It will only take one of the scorers having a bad night or a bad team qt for it to stay under the 198. Bottom line is, if you can't play under then pass. Good luck

Thanks for the comments gentlemen...........

Thanks for the comments gentlemen...........

no all....that's exactly what I mean about Hill. He is yo-yoed in and out of the lineup so much that neither he nor his team have any consistency in their play. Orlando would be better served to use him off the beach in some kind of regular, predictable rotation his temamates could count on.

--------------------------------------------------

gsp.....I've thought about this game all day and my HEAD HURTS from it!!

You are entirely correct about factoring in that 140 point 2OT Mil game....AND...the Sonic tired legs have concerned me all day long.

Also, of concern to me is the fact Payton looks like he's play'n with a "chip-on-his-shoulder". Dissatisfied with not only the ref calls on the floor but I really think he's "bigtime" dissatisfied with the Sonic head office.

Not only is that showing up in his play but also the end results of the last 10 games. The Sonics have nose-dived from that stellar start.

If your play'n the over tonight your asking for a 100+ effort outa this Sonics team!

Let me tell ya what I've played so far......I took Sea/Clev Over 100 1H earlier this morning. And I've really talked myself out of the Over for the game.

The only thing that has me still considering anything more is the line movement at 200 currently. But I just hate to lay the Over for the entire game on a team playing 5th in 7 days.....all on the road!!!

Anymore thoughts or comments? ez

I myself am just laying off. 200 is hard for me to play, although if i did it would be over or nothing. Playing under with the Cavs is suicide i think.

My question is why this game EZ? You seem to not feel too strongly on this one, just no other ones catch your eye tonight?

Sorry, i know that doesn't help. I just to see ya beating yourself up over this one :)

I've been waiting for this game to top the 200 mark to play the under myself....and now it's there I'm playing under 200' :D

Seattle: 1-4 under away -> away 1 day rest as 5+ fav. (Av. 180) [All 4 unders have been this year av. 175]
4-10 under away off 1 day after 10+ SU loss. [2 of the overs where an OT and a 2OT game]
1-8 under in the same situation but travelling away -> away.
2-7 under after ATS loss this season.
2-7 under v. <500 teams this season.
0-3 under as -5 this season.

Cleveland: 0-5 under last 5 home -> home 1 day rest when total 200+ (av. 196)
PLUS...the clincher for me here is the fact that they shot so well last game.
There is a big trend showing teams shooting over 50% one game will drop dramatically in the next.
I have to believe that will be true again, especially against this Seattle team who will certainly be the best defense Cleveland have faced for a while.

Just me thoughts :D

It's a tough call

It's a tough call

Like you said earlier, you just don't know how they will come out and play with those tired legs. Seattle may come out with a lot of energy but tire in the second half. It could be a fast pace game all the way through. Cleveland doesn't have a stellar defense where the last 7 out of 10 have gone over 200. It's a judgment call. I new this line would be up to 200 or more before game time. The public mostly ask what has this team done lately. Before Cleveland's last ten games, Cleveland only went over 200 twice. I still am gravatated to the over though. I see it ranging from 198 - 205.

Bad......it just looked good from the surface.

Bad......it just looked good from the surface.

Probably still beating myself up for that Orl play last Tuesday night. :( I know....forget it and I will after tonight!!

--------------------------------------------------

MrChristo......good reasoning and sound logic. They just said Miles will be back for the Cavs tonight.....FWIW.

--------------------------------------------------

raledet......I'm hope'n jfor a fast start. If I'm Lucas......I try to run 'em into the ground tonight no better than I play defense.

Clev needs to check out what's in the Sonic's gas tank. Has me think'n fast start and a slow Sonic finish.

BOL to everyone tonight! ez
