Nolan.... I would like to thank you for all the time and effort you put into your analysis of games and posting them in this forum. I totally agree with you on the analysis of this game. New QB and Smith looking to break the rushing record looks like trouble for Dallas. Your comments on Jones and Coslet are also right on the money. Coslet was at one time a very good Offensive Coordinator, back in the late 80's and early 90's, but he has done nothing but destroy offenses in the past 5 years and Jones will simply not let the coaches run the team without some type of interference. I know a lot of guys love Emmitt, but if he was really a class act he would have retired a few years back when he was close to his prime. He has done nothing but hurt the organization with his subpar play. Just my opinion.

No Line Movement

No Line Movement

Been tracking this line since it came out...It's very unuual that a public team like Dallas is not sparking enough interest to move the line away from 2?. Would seem to think the public will jump on Dallas with Smith closing in on Payton's record and all, plus Seattle's poor run defense and road record. But no line movement. Also, with the poor offensive output from the polks the last 2 outings, shouldn't the O/U move away from 37? already? Vegas is holding steady.

I don't believe in fixed games in the NFL, but I do believe Vegas knows what they're doing.

From my experience, this is when I need to take a second and perhaps a third look at my initial thoughts.

I still think Seattle wins this game... Dallas D is pretty good, but not good enough to stop Seattle RB S. Alexander in this game. Jerry Jones wants E. Smith to break Payton's record in Texas Stadium, even if this means losing the game. It's all about publicity to this man. If Holmgren plays his cards correctly, he can steal one here on the road.

Best of luck
