This is the latest injury report for both clubs. While Ichiro isn't starting I suspect he will still be available to pinch hit in a clutch situation. Lineups are not available yet.

CLEVELAND -

LHP Cameron Cairncross (torn labrum in left shoulder) is on the
60-day DL (went on March 31), underwent surgery and is out
indefinitely. RHP Paul Shuey (strained right elbow) is on the
15-day DL (went on July 22) and is out indefinitely. RHP Charles
Nagy (right elbow) is on the 15-day DL (went on August 24) and
can't be activated until September 8.

SEATTLE -

RF Jay Buhner (strained arch in left foot) is on the 15-day DL
(went on March 31), underwent surgery and is on a rehab
assignment with Tacoma of the Pacific Coast League. RHP Gil
Meche (right shoulder surgery) is on the 60-day DL (went on
March 31) and is out for the season. C Chris Widger (torn
labrum in right shoulder) is on the 15-day DL (went on
March 31) and is out indefinitely. IF Ed Sprague (sprained
left knee) is on the 15-day DL (went on August 8) and is out
indefinitely.

Hmmm. Replacing Suzuki with Charles Gipson RF .152 0 4 is certainly a reduction in initial firepower, but look where he is batting. That puts the numnber nine batter in a great place for Suzuki to pinch hit and have a 9,1,2,3,4 power hitting surge later in the game.

What does everyone else think? I was planning on playing SEA today and still think I will unless someone makes a good case not to.
