Marra - i agree completely ! Shanahan outhinks himself... just as much as 'the New England Patroits coach', but anyway........... Jake isn't the problem. this game would of had the same outcome with Jake in it with the same playcalling.
in the 1st half, Denver was running all over them. It was Shanahan with his "ridiculous" 20 - 30 - 40 'knock em out of the game' yard passes that costed Denver.
All Denver had to do was manage the game, NOT WIN IT , from a QB standpoint. Which is what Shanahan said at the beginning of the year, with Jake Plummer.
