What are your thoughts on this one

We know ATL is a 5 point fave
We know the total is 51.5
We know ATL is the #2 seed
We know ATL is playing their 1st playoff game this season
We know SEA is the #3 seed
We know SEA beat Detroit in wildcard rd

We don't know who will win
We don't know how many points will be scored

So what's your guess

Seattle most likely feels right at home in a playoff game regardless if it's on the road....Carroll, Russell, LOB all know what to expect
Playoff experience is huge to me...ATL hasn't been in recent years...curious to see how they handle emotion early on...

QB- push- Ryan is a better passer with the better regular season but I think it's even with Russ's experience and mobility-

WR- edge falcons- Julio jones

Rb- Edge falcons- Rawls looked good last week but the SEA running game was below avg all year - ATL has been able to dominate with their running backs with coleman/freeman splitting time and having coleman ability to catch passes is huge

TE- edge seahawks- Jimmy graham still can dominate a game

Special teams- push

Defense- edge seahawks- ATL is much improved but Seattle is still a top 3 unit

Coaching- edge seahawks- i hate his gum chewing techniques but Carroll's experience is huge edge

Home field favors ATL obviously

What's that mean...I don't know but Seattle loves this role and I wouldn't be surprised to see them score early and put pressure on ATL....

If Ryan limits turnovers and the running game can establish itself then ATL is right where they want to be

These 2 played a wild and competitive game early in season with Seattle winning after a controversial non-call on Richard Sherman who appeared to interfere with Julio jones on a 4th down passing attempt

I think we should have another good game but with 2 fairly even teams and only 1 with plenty of experience in this situation, I'm leaning the points

Anyone else looking at this game?

I don't see Atlanta losing this game at all! Seattle played a very weak IMO Lions team who limped into the playoffs on a losing streak, so I wouldn't put too much into that game. Detroit's WR's are not even close to what Falcons have. Falcons have a two headed MONSTER at RB with Freeman and Coleman as well who will be at home this time looking to improve on the 52 yards rushing they had in the 1st meeting. This game will most likely be close though just because Seattle does have the respectable D. I'm personally passing this game just going to ride my future's play on Atlanta to win the NFC. One concern I do have is Thomas Rawls....he's healthy and looked amazing against Detroit. If he gets rolling, he'll be the key to Seattle winning this game IMO, but I don't see it happening. Falcons get their revenge from earlier 2 point loss. I would play Atlanta ML as this could very well come down to a FG. Should be a GREAT game of hard hitting!! This one and the Packer/Cowboy game highlight the weekend

Atlanta averaged 34 points a game this season..

Safe to say they are bringing 24 from the parking lot to the Dome..

how many is Seattle bringing..

they better hope that road suite case is carrying more than it usually does

This ain't no defensive game...just ain't going to happen in that Dome..

Yea I just value that playoff experience above all else...as well as qbs who have the intangibles and ability to create extra time with their feet

Matty ice is amazing ...but if Seattle can put pressure and make him uncomfortable it could be long game

First playoff game for HC in his tenure....could be factor with decision making. I just think a lot has to go right for falcons to win

Seattle can win ugly....d3fense always travels and on offense when plays break down Russ can move around better then anyone else

Should be good game.....

Dallas won't beat either of these 2 teams I don't think....green Bay could if they win at Dallas...

I'm still considering the points

Yea true...as usual O.S I agree with your thinking...I think Seattle can score....Baldwin and Graham are capable of huge days....Richardson emerging as a threat....Russ's mobility and they finally got their running game working last week

Total at 52

Vegas doesn't anticipate a low scoring game either

Take Falcons lay it -5 or 5 1/2 even .....

Seahawks at home yeah dominant on the Road not so dominant even in playoffs they were croaked on the road

last year BY Panthers :142smilie

Playoff experience plenty QB matty ice been there every year plus other falcons players

IF Tampa Bay whipped them 14-5 LOL

Sorry seahawks YOU lost to TB Plus you have tied game YOUR Out this week

The others who had tied games ELIMINATED Redskins Cardinals Bengals

THE TB losers all Eliminated from Playoffs except Falcons Cheifs and Seahawks

Two go away this WEEK Seahawks and Chiefs

Regular season matchup

Regular season matchup

Mostly due to the 2 turnovers by Atlanta...Seattle scored 13 points on 3 drives of 24 yards, 22 yards, and 9 yards

Seattle still barely won...by 2 points...at home

Matt Ryan is one of those guys who looks great in the gym, but then you need him in a streetfight he disappears like a little girl.

Think the exact opposite of Eli Manning.

They might win easily and cover, I'm the worst picker of games, but Ryan is a paper tiger.

Just one foreigners opinion. After all, I'm a Jet fan!!!
