They could quite possibly be the most worthless team I have ever watched. Adrian Beltre should be ashamed to pick up his paycheck. Ritchie Sexson always strikes out with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 out. And I know he always bats over. 300 every year but Ichiro never drives in a key run.

Does anyone know the last time a Mariner hit a ball hard? I dont mean get a hit I just mean actually hit the ball hard. Ichiro has been doing his Shawn Green impression lately hitting weak rollers to second base.
are they really this bad? I thiught today would be a day they would try to not get swept, but this is pretty ugly
Ya...they finally put up a threat here in the 5th scoring a run. WOW!! This Verlander kid is dynamite for Detroit!! Leyland is licking his chops with this kid.....his windup reminds me of Roy Oswalt. He works fast and smooth.....oh and consistantly hits 98mph on the gun! He hit 100 already today....
Beltre on 3rd and one out and the f*ckin backup catcher who has already cost them 2 runs strikes out on a pitch in the dirt. Just a horrible team.
