Whenver SEC seems to play a NON SEC TEAM in BOWL GAMES... THIS HAPPENS: (see TCU/OLE MISS halfway throught the 2nd qtr)....

Or go back to ALA and Utah.... Or many others.... SEC IS VERY GOOD AT OTHER SEC TEAMS....

Just my opinion I am throwing out there to stir it up a bit, before all these SEC teams get going this bowl season..... (or fail to)

I think they will be 4-2 after the ole piss debacle. Not so bad. Funny how a team can go from beating Alabama to playing like a high school team.

Stir it up!!!!

Idk until today sec is 4-1 with 2 underdog outright winners. All 4 winners covered as well. Sec does have what 7 of last 8 championships? Plus by the time you get all the sec schools in bowls you end up getting sec 5,6,7,8,9 versus other conferences 2,3,4,5. Plus some of these sec schools do not get excited for belk bowls or liberty bowls so i think that all that sets up for some let down. My 2 cents. Go SEC!!!!

Tcu looks unbelievable. They could beat any of the top four teams today. Wow!!

Stir it up!!!

when they lose they weren't motivated....typical bullshit excuse....some would have more respect if u actually admitted they got beat plain and simple

So. Cal
Even in bowl games all sec fans have to do is drive their house about 2 hours to the bowl game site

Do these school's/fans ever have to get on a plane for a game vs bcs school?

Ol? miss stunk this year and they're missing 2 wr and lineman, plus the sec was a tad down...This result isn't that shocking.

Miss st isn't that good either but draws a good matchup for them as their weakness is pass d and ga tech doesn't throw

Ole Miss got there ASS handed to them today but to rag on this conference borders on the line of stupity...If you have no respect for polls, stats, power rating and oh past Nat'l Championships then this conversation is even more STUPID...

This is not news. The SEC beats itself up every year and ESPN masturbates people into a frenzy to vote them to the top of the polls.

The elite teams are still SEC based but how people could ever have thought Ole Miss was a top level team with Bo Wallace is beyond me.

Um ok..I never said i didn't respect the conf. I get sick of people making excuses for them when they lose a bowl game..i see it all over the place every year...Last year bama wasn't motivated i was told but if they win they kick ass......if One person would actually say they got beat fair and square i might have a little more respect....OU pounded the shit out of them...someone admit it cus that's what happened.

Well, Poolplayer its true. Normally when a team plays at a high level with high level recruits, nothing less than playing for a National championship is a let down. And its hard to get motivated for. Not saying that the big ten wont be in the same position in a year or 2. However that's why the games are played. But today my money was on TCU, thanks to Smitty. Top to bottom, in my opinion the SEC is the best football conference TODAY. But that can change. And good luck to you and who ever you are on my brother.

Ok that happened but SEC people very defensive bout their conference and if Ohio St kicks ALA ass this year i will be the 1st to say the best team won...Along the same lines with Miss St Auburn Tenn and any others left...

Wasnt trying to make excuses. When they get beat they get beat just like ole miss got their ass drug. Just saying that the top tier sec football schools, fans, players lose interest once the are out of the title running. Especially when they play in those mid level bowls and they usually play a higher numbered conference finishing team. To that team it is like the superbowl. A chance to beat lsu, georgia, florida....just the truth.

Now i do not know what that is like expect in basketball. UK is my team and we will take a shitty bowl or beating any 4-8 sec school. It is brutal on this side but you do get to see a lot of great teams, heisman candidates and national champions. Do not beat any...haha. Actually we did beat the 2008 lsu champions.

Actually flew out to California for the Bama-Texas BCS title game and my girlfriend flew out to California for last year's Auburn-FSU title game.....Also had to fly to Miami for the Bama-ND game....This year Arizona is playing 130 miles from their campus....The majority of bowl games are in warm weather states(Florida, California, domes, etc...)

Ole Miss was a top team this your for the first time in living memory.

It's not like they have been playing for NCs year in year out so for them to come out flat was pathetic. This is their ceiling - they are not a playoff team.
