Lots of good games on the calendar this week. Jawga at LSwho is definitely the marquee matchup of the week. The undercard isn't too bad with Alabama at UcheaT, Kentucky at the Reptiles Nutt Bowl One AKA Ole Miss at Arkansas, Middle Tennessee at Mississippi State and Duke and Vandy. But first... Tommy Tubberville takes his traveling train wreck on the road to Morgantown, WV to take on the equal underachieving Mountaineers of West Virginia.

On to the action....

Awbarn at West Virginia
Could this be the beginning of the end for Awbarn HC Tommy Tubberville? War Eagle's record sits at a disappointing 4-3 with games against Ole Miss, Jawga and Alabama still to come. I see tonight as a must win for Awbarn if they wish to make a bowl game.

Things aren't much better in Morgantown with first year HC Bill Stewart. The 'Neers are 4-2 and any chance of a National Championship are long gone. BUT... they still control their own destiny for a BCS bid as Big East Champion. They should receive a boost with QB Pat White returning to action tonight after suffering a concussion earlier this season.

By the way, kudos to the schedulers at Awbarn. Tonight marks their first non-conference road game in 5 years. Not bad if you can work your schedule that way.

Awbie has an all-time record of 6-1 in Thursday night games, including a 3-0 mark under Tommy Tuberville; a record of 5-2-1 against teams that currently comprise the Big East Conference; and have the nation's third-best record in games away from home (road or neutral) since 2004 with an 18-5 (.783) mark.

Awbarn has been a wreck offensively, ranking 107th nationally in total offense and getting next to nothing from the passing game. Ben Tate leads War Eagle with 533 yards rushing and needs 172 yards to become the 13th player in Awbarn history with 2,000 career rushing yards. The QB situation is still a mess. Sophomore Kodi Burns will get the start on Thursday, but he has yet to inspire confidence. Backups Neil Caudle and Chris Todd are in the mix as well. If none of the above manage to step up, the team may consider forgoing the redshirt year of freshman Barrett Trotter.

WVU?s 14th-ranked scoring defense has allowed one TD pass at home all year and will make Burns? third start of the season a difficult one. They are also only giving up just under 15 points a game. LB Mortty Ivy (leads the team in tackles with 46) and S John Holmes are the "studs" of the Mountaineer defense, swarming to the ball and playing with exceptional range. Quinton Andrews is second on the team in tackles with 45. He is averaging 7.5 tackles per game, which ranks him fifth in the Big East.

With 3,875 career rushing yards in just 35 starts, Pat White is the WVU and Big East career QB rushing leader. White is just the seventh quarterback in NCAA history to have 3,000 yards passing and rushing in a career. Noel Devine is averaging 7.4 yards per carry during his career. He has tallied 1,269 rushing yards in 18 games played and has 761 all-purpose yards on the season/1,989 for his career. He is averaging 110.5 all-purpose yards per game during career. A particular problem has been the complete nonexistence of a downfield passing game. With the team not even attempting to throw the ball downfield their running game has become easier to defend. WVU has only averaged 17 points per game in their last 5 matchups overall.

Tommy Tubberville's back is against the wall and I'm sure his Tigers will fight tooth and nail this evening. Morgantown though is a tough place to play, especially at night. I think that it stays a close game, but in the end WVU has enough to put it away and win by a TD.

My prediction is WVU 20-13

My bet is the Mountaineers -3

Kentucky at Florida
After two straight losses, the Mildcats came from behind with two 4th quarter TDs to beat SEC doormat Arkansas 21-20 at home last weekend. The Reptiles are coming off of a bye week, with their last outing a 30 point win over LSwho. Florida aims to continue its dominance of UK when the teams meet in the Swamp. The Reptiles have won 21 straight against the Mildcats. UK, which is 3-24 in this series when Florida is ranked, has not defeated a top-10 opponent on the road since beating No. 4 Penn State 24-20 in 1977.

UK QB Mike Hartline threw two late TD passes in a span of 4:15 last week to tie Kentucky's largest fourth quarter comeback in school history. Unfortunately for the Mildcats, leading rusher Derrick Locke and leading receiver Dicky Lyons have been lost for the remainder of the season.

Brandon Spikes is third in the SEC in tackles per game this year and is 30th nationally with 9.20. Spikes has led the Reptiles in tackles in eight of the last 10 games he has played in. In addition, he has recorded 10-or-more tackles in five of his last seven outings.

Tim Tebow finally looked like the 2007 verson against LSwho. He should have no problem with the "dinks and dunks" to keep the offense moving and that should free up the longball against unproven LBs on the UK defense. Tebow has not thrown an INT in seven of the last eight games and has only thrown one all season. Tebow's 34 career rushing TDs are tied for the second-highest total in school history with Errict Rhett. Jeff Demps' average of 13.3 yards per carry leads the nation (min. 20 attempts). His average TD run this year is 47 yards. Demps had his second-straight 100-yard game with his 10 carry, 129-yard performance against LSwho. Percy Harvin has scored a TD in each of the last eight games he has played in.

UK's defense is allowing just 156 passing yards per game and has been a steady rock against the run. The Mildcats have the league's top-scoring defense (11.9 ppg) and forced an SEC-best 20 turnovers. Braxton Kelley currently leads the team and ranks seventh in the SEC in tackles with 53. Jeremy Jarmon currently has 5.5 tackle for loss, two sacks, three pass breakups and two quarterback hurries.

Kentucky never quits, no matter the score. They could have rolled over when Alabama had them down 14-0 at the half, but they fought back to lose 17-14. Down by 13 with 4 minutes to go at home, the Mildcats battled back and scored two TDs to come from behind and win 21-20. I just wonder if the injuries are going to be too much for them to overcome. I don't see Urban Meyer taking his foot off of the pedal until the game is over. He learned his lesson against Ole Miss and knows that a good offensive performance will impress the pollsters. This game is too close for me to call so it's a lean.

Wildcats are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings.
Wildcats are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Florida.
Road team is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 meetings.
Underdog is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings.

My prediction is Florida 38-17

My lean is Mildcats +26

Duke at Vandy
This is Duke's second matchup against a non-conference's "smart" school. Earlier this year the Blue Devils lost to Northwestern 24-20. David Cutcliffe has already changed the culture around the football program at Duke in less than one season. Again I ask the question, "What was Ole Miss thinking when they fired this man?"

Vandy is happy to be back home and facing a non-conference opponent. The 'Dores are still painfully one win away from bowl eligibility. Could this be the game that puts them over the top?

Thaddeus Lewis Lewis now has 41 career touchdown passes and nine on the season. It was his fourth multi-touchdown game of the season. He now has 11 career multi-touchdown games. Raphael Chestnut led the Duke receivers versus the ?Canes catching five passes for 48 yards and a score.

Myron Lewis and D.J. Moore share the Vandy lead in INTs with junior safety Ryan Hamilton. The trio have three INTs each. Reshard Langford have a pair of interceptions. The 'Dores' 13-INTs total trails UcheaT's league leading total of 14, and is tied for fourth in the NCAA.

Vandy QB Mackenzi Adams had a good outing against Jawga last weekend, even though the 'Dores lost 24-14. After facing two very physical defenses in the Bulldogs (Jawga and Miss. State) he should have a break out game against the Blue Devils.

Senior linebacker Michael Tauiliili leads the ACC and ranks sixth nationally in tackles per game at 11.0 after recording 66 total stops through Duke's first six games of the year. He has paced the Blue Devils in tackles in all six contests, reaching double figures in four games.

Duke's only chance to win is to pass the ball early and often and oh yeah not turn the ball over. Vandy has an outstanding secondary that will force the Blue Devils to rely more than they?d like on the nation?s 90th-ranked running game. The 'Dores are a disciplined, well-coached team that doesn?t make penalties and leads the SEC in sacks. Vandy should be able to control the tempo of this game and keep Duke from having any chance of winning. While 10 points is a lot for Vandy to be laying, I think they pull away in the second half and get it done at home. BUT... Vandy being Vandy, I think I'm gonna pass. Still, SHOW YOUR GOLD!

Commodores are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall.
Blue Devils are 1-5 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
Blue Devils are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS loss.

My prediction is Vanderbilt 27-13.

My lean is Vandy -10

As I'm sure you can imagine, I am looking forward to UGA@LSU. I wonder how Georgia is gonna defend LSU. Seems like Florida stacked the box on first, and took away the middle of the field with a cover 1 and a LB underneath from there. It's a smart move imo to take away the middle of the field from an inexperienced QB because it forces the QB to complete more deep outs, rather than rely on the high % crossing routes and quick slants. Lee has the arm to make that deep throw, but late delivery is a concern.

I think that's why LSU played soooo conservatively at Florida. I am confident that we will see more passing on 1st down from the Tigers this week which should open things up for the O.

I am not sold on LSU being able to slow UGA offensively. Dawgs should be sky high after the whoopin' they took in their last big game, but a far bigger rivalry is looming for UGA which could take a bit of a toll on their energy this week. I'm not as impressed by Stafford as most, but I am impressed by the athleticism of Moreno and the WRs. LSU just began using a CB at nickelback last week. I have wondered since last season why they feel compelled to use a third safety in coverage, and they finally learned their lesson after Florida made them pay. I suspect the secondary will show improvement from now til the end of the season, but is still a huge concern.

I'm thinking (or, maybe hoping) LSU by 3, so won't play it.

GL this week.

Jawga at LSwho
The winner keeps their hopes alive in the National Championship race... the loser can pack their bags for a January bowl, but not a BCS game. By the way, LSwho has won six consecutive games against top 10 opponents.

I for one am very impressed with the Bayou Bengals and how they bounced back with a big win last weekend on the road at USC-East. Jawga went through the motions in a 10 point Homecoming win against Vandy.

Kudos as well to the LSwho scheduling department. Saturday's game is the first of a 5 game homestand for the Bayou Bengals.

Offensively, where to begin with Jawga? QB Matthew Stafford, RB Knowshon Moreno, and the emergence of freshman WR A.J. Green, have been enough to overcome a variety of issues. Stafford is 23-5 as the starter. He has thrown for 5,969 yards with 36 TDs and 28 INTs in his Bulldawg career. Moreno recorded a season-high 172 yards rushing and one TD on 23 carries in Georgia's 24-14 win over Vanderbilt. The effort was Moreno's 10th 100-yard game of his career. A.J. Green is the SEC's leading receiver (81.9 ypg). BUT... Stafford has thrown 5 INTs in his last three games.

LSwho Safety Harry Coleman is first on the team with 33 tackles, while DE Tyson Jackson leads the team and ranks second in the SEC with 4.5 sacks. Against the 'Cocks, Jackson had three tackles, including a pair of sacks and he keyed a defensive front that limited USC-East to just 39 yards rushing. Jackson has now recorded four sacks in LSwho's last two games.

You gotta love the Mad Hatter... just when you think you have him figured out (Jarrett Lee as the starter against the 'Cocks) he puts in backup QB Andrew Hatch in the closing moments and watched him throw the game winning TD pass. If they remain mistake-free and efficient LSwho will win by two scores. Miles also added to the rushing attack by moving Charles Scott, who ran for 535 yards and six TDs in the first four games, to fullback, allowing the speedier Keiland Williams to get more carries. WR Brandon LaFell continues to lead the SEC in receiving with 5.5 catches per game and he's third in the league in yards with 77.0 a contest. In six games, LaFell has caught 33 passes for 462 yards and 3 TDs.

Top 'Dawg LB Dannell Ellerbe is still out with a knee injury. Darryl Gamble, has started the past two games in his place and tied for a team high five tackles against UcheaT. Gamble ranks second on the team with 32 tackles and had a career-high seven tackles against Vandy. In my opinion, the Jawga secondary can be beaten. With little pass rush to help the cause, the Bulldawg secondary has allowed a few too many big plays even though it hasn?t faced a who?s who of passing quarterbacks. Sure, the run defense has been great, it ranks third in the nation allowing just 61 yards per game, but it only faced one really good ground game, Alabama?s, and that?s the one loss for UGA. In other words, the stats are a bit misleading.

I do like Mark Richt. He's a helluva coach and almost always has his team ready to play. BUT... I think that going into Tiger Stadium and having played two back to back average games spells a win and cover for the Bayou Bengals. Plus, I rarely go against the Mad Hatter at home. HOLD THAT TIGER!

Home team is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings.

My prediction is LSwho 21-17

My bet is Bayou Bengals -1.5

Not a night game though... 2:30 PM local kickoff on CBS.

It does reek a bit... and while nobody should look ahead of LSwho, the 'Dawgs do have their big rivalry game with the Reptiles coming up next weekend in Jacksonville. UGA could still lose to LSwho and win out the SEC schedule and win the Eastern Division.

Ole Miss at Arkansas
This game is AKA as Nutt Bowl One. The Reverend Houston Nutt takes his Rebels into Fayetteville for a night a game against his former team. It's doubtful though about there being much of an advantage as Darren McFadden and Felix Jones are gone from last year's team and HC Bobby Petrino has made the Hog offense a pass happy team.

If RB Michael Smith was 100% healthy, I would be all over the Hogs to win straight up, but Smith isn?t 100%. The new Hog star who has rushed for 791 yards and five TDs on the year, and ripped off 176 yards against Auburn and 192 against Kentucky, suffered a concussion and will be limited if he?s able to play. QB Casey Dick has completed 126-of-226 passes with six TDs and nine interceptions. Sophomore WR D.J. Williams has collected 28 passes for 315 yards and a pair of scores. Dick has had to carry more of the workload this year, but his burdened has been lightened by the emergence of Smith. However, that didn?t matter much last week as Dick completed just 11-of-29 passes for 94 yards and a touchdown in the loss to Kentucky as he struggled to handle the steady Mildcat pass rush. The big problem has been interceptions with five over the last three games and eight over the last five.

The Rebel defensive front might be having a few injury problems, but it?s more than good enough to get to Casey Dick on a regular basis if Smith isn?t pulling off the same magic he did over the last three weeks. NT Ted Laurent leads Ole Miss and is tied for fifth in the SEC with 7.0 TFLs. In just four games, Greg Hardy has taken over the team lead in sacks with 3.5 and has 4.5 TFLs. DT Peria Jerry posted season highs of seven total tackles and three TFLs at Alabama. He also notched a sack, forced fumble and QB hurry. Jamarca Sanford ranks fourth in the SEC in tackles per game(8.7) and is the league's active career leader (266 total stops).

Rebel QB Jevan Snead is tied for the SEC lead in TD passes (10) and ranks third in passing average (209.1 ypg) and fourth in total offense (214.6 ypg). Shay Hodge is tied for the SEC lead in TD catches with five and ranks first in yards per catch (20.8) and fourth in receiving yards per game (62.3 ypg), just ahead of teammate Dexter McCluster in fifth (61.7). As a receiver, McCluster is fifth in the SEC in receiving yards per game (61.7 ypg) and sixth in receptions (4.0 per game).

The Arkansas defense has stepped up against the run in a big way over the last few weeks. After getting ripped up for over 800 rushing yards over a three game span, the Hogs rebounded to hold Auburn to 56 yards and Kentucky to 88. The defensive front has become more aggressive, and the linebacking corps is starting to grow up. The overall tackling has been better, too. Freshman LB Jerry Franklin leads the Arkansas defense with 54 total tackles, while junior DT Malcolm Shepard has posted 30 tackles with six TFLs, three sacks and six QB hurries. Elton Ford led the team with ten tackles at Kentucky, while also hauling in one interception. Ford is second on the team in tackles with 44. Adrian Davis has five TFLs and three sacks on the season.

Ole Miss beat Florida in the Swamp and took #2 Alabama to the wire before losing by 4 in Tuscaloosa. Arkansas lost by a combined 66 points at home to both of these teams. While the Hogs might be fired up and have a big crowd on their side, the Arkansas offense is still not very good and the Ole Miss "D" is. HOTTY TODDY GOSH ALMIGHTY!

Favorite is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings.
Rebels are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games.
Razorbacks are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall.

My prediction is Ole Miss 28-20

My bet is Rebels -5

Middle Tennessee at Mississippi State
In all honesty, who cares? Both teams are 2-5 and not going anywhere soon. MTSU likes to play the spoiler and did so earlier this season against Maryland. They were a shoestring tackle away from winning at Kentucky and played Louisville tough on the road. If Sly Croom is going bowling again, this is a must win for the Bulldogs.

For the Blue Raiders on offense, QB Joe Craddock needs two more TD passes to tie Bob Hallum for ninth on the career list. Five of Joe Craddock's eight touchdown passes this year have come on third or fourth down. Craddock ranks 28th nationally in completions per game and 38th in passing yards. WR Patrick Honeycutt has 28 receptions the past four games for 253 yards and two touchdowns. The Blue Raiders have been steady, but not explosive, averaging a mere 18 points per game. The running game is non-existent, averaging just 87 yards per outing, while relying just on the passing game which....

Plays right into MSU?s strength, the pass defense. The Bulldog secondary is doing what it can, allowing a mere 138 yards per game. Derek Pegues holds the MSU school record with three career INT returns for TDs, which is tied for second in the SEC. Also, his 11 total INTs tie him for third in school history in that category. Dominic Douglas currently leads the Bulldogs with 50 total tackles, and ranks 12th in the SEC. Against UcheaT, Zach Smith posted a game-high and career-best 11 total tackles.

I don't even know where to start with the Bulldog offense. It's worse than Awbarn's, and that is saying a lot. At least MSU hasn't fired their OC yet! MSU?s offense just isn?t working. Take away the 34 points over SE Louisiana, an FCS team, and the Bulldog attack is averaging just 11 points per game scoring seven points or fewer in three of the last five games. Turnovers are a major part of the problem as well as execution. Prior to the UcheaT game, QB Tyson Lee had not thrown an INT... then he threw three against the Viles. He also suffered a knee injury and will play with a brace this week. Brandon McRae has hauled in a team-leading 35 passes on the season for 330 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He ranks fourth in the SEC with a 5.0-catchper- game average, and with one more reception he will have the highest single-season total since Justin Jenkins caught 62 passes in 2003. With 473 yards on 113 carries in the first seven games of the season, Anthony Dixon has now compiled 2,207 rushing yards on 569 attempts in 32 career games.

For MTSU, LB Ivon Hickmon ranks T35 nationally in tackles for loss with 8.5. His two career interceptions both occurred this season and are tied for the team lead. He also has a forced fumble. His 50 tackles are second on the team and 33 of those have been unassisted. In the last three games, Jeremy Kellem has racked up 20 tackles, two INTs, two fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.

I don't care who MSU plays, they shouldnt' be laying double digits to anyone. MTSU may not have a great record, but they see a wounded dog in MSU and a win would be huge for the Sun Belt team. While MSU might win, they don't cover. Hell, the first team to 10 might just win.

Bulldogs are 0-4-1 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.
Bulldogs are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.
Blue Raiders are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games.

My prediction is Mississippi State 13-10

My bet is MTSU +11

Alabama at UcheaT
And now for my big game of the week. Have I mentioned in the past how much I hate UcheaT? I can't stand anything orange and I sure don't care for Viles HC Phat Phil Fulmer. My last trip to ObKnoxville was in 1994 when Alabama beat UcheaT and freshman QB Peyton Manning 17-13. I would love to see a repeat of last year's 41-17 Tide win.

Will Alabama finally show up and play for 4 quarters? After leading big at halftime against UGA, UK and Ole Miss, the Tide has had to hang on to win each game. The good thing about this is HC Nick Saban has been able to stay tough on his team for not finishing strong. RB Glen Coffee has rushed for 760 yards on 108 carries (7.0-yard per carry average) and has scored four TDs. He rushed for a career-high 218 yards and one TD on 25 carries against Kentucky. John Parker Wilson has completed 68.3 percent of his passes away from Bryant-Denny Stadium for 459 yards, four TDs and no INTs. Wilson has thrown for 521 yards and completed 60 percent of his passes in two games against the Viles.

The UcheaT Safety combination of Eric Berry and Demetrice Morley is considered among the best in team history. Each had a pick six last week against Mississippi State, and each can hit. Berry has been the better of the two, leading the nation with five interceptions to go along with 44 tackles, while Morley is a big-time playmaker.

Nick Stephens will start his fourth career game. He is 34-of-69 for 542 yards and three TDs this season. He has not thrown an INT in three starts. Arian Foster boasted 196 yards on 25 carries in his first two games (98 ypg, 7.8 ypc), but has gained just 185 yards on 54 carries in the last five games (37 ypg, 3.4 ypc). He is 303 yards from being UcheaT's all-time leading rusher. Foster is a threat as a pass catcher out of the backfield as well with 660 career receiving. BUT, the offense isn?t anything special and it isn?t going to suddenly find itself this week against a Tide defense that isn?t giving up a thing against the run and isn?t awful against the pass. UcheaT doesn?t have the attack that can put up big numbers in bunches.

Rolando McClain leads the team with 48 tackles. Dont'a Hightower is tied for third on the team in tackles with 30 stops - 13 solo - in seven games (4.3 tackles per game). Hightower has also forced one fumble and recovered two more to rank tied for first in the SEC at .29 per game. Terrence Cody has also cast a large shadow for the Tide defense, with 15 tackles on the season with 3.5 tackles for loss (-8) while also causing and recovering a fumble. He will miss at least the next two weeks due to injury.

Alabama can't afford many more second-half letdowns, even against struggling UcheaT. The Viles will definitely show some fight but will not be able to keep up with the Tide offense. Hey, they may lose to LSwho in a few weeks or against Awbarn next month... but for now, they are undefeated and #2 in the nation. They will remain that way when the leave ObKnoxville late Saturday night. Remember, I rarely bet on Alabama. ROLL TIDE ROLL!

Road team is 10-2-1 ATS in their last 13 meetings.

My prediction is Alabama 31-14

My lean is Alabama -6

Totals

Awbarn at West Virginia... O/U 38
I like this to be a defensive low scoring game.
Under is 7-2 in Tigers last 9 games overall.
Under is 4-0 in Mountaineers last 4 home games.

My bet is UNDER 38

Kentucky at Florida... O/U 49
I see the Reptiles scoring at least 5 TDs here. UK should be good for at least 14 points.
The trends go both ways here, but I like the over.

My bet is OVER 49.

Duke at Vandy... O/U 41
This one could be very close to the number. I think that Vandy will probably shut down the Duke offense. No bet here.

My lean is UNDER 41.

Georgia at LSU... O/U 48.5
I think this will be a bigger defensive battle than expected. All UGA trends are for the under and all LSU trends go to the over.

My bet is UNDER 48.5

Ole Miss at Arkansas... O/U 53
Another one of those trends that go one way for the Rebs and the other for the Hogs. I see points being score by both teams, but not enough for the over. Still, my predicted score is too close, so I'll sit this one out.

My lean is UNDER 53.

MTSU at Mississippi State... O/U 40
Both offenses are horrible and there is no way this game should be anywhere near the over.
Under is 5-1 in Blue Raiders last 6 non-conference games.
Under is 5-0 in Bulldogs last 5 home games.
Under is 4-0 in Bulldogs last 4 games in October.
Under is 4-1 in Bulldogs last 5 non-conference games.

My bet is UNDER 40.

Alabama at UcheaT... O/U 41.5
Last year the Tide scored 41 on their own. Before that the Under hit three straight years. I think that 'Bama can score 4-5 TDs and UcheaT should be able to muster at least 10 points. Again, no bet because it's Alabama.

My lean is OVER 41.5.

On the def, Aub gives up 13.1 pts/g and WV gives up 14.7. On off, Aub scores 19.7 and WV 22.2 pts/game. Looks like a good under.

tide line down to 4.5?!?!?

wtf

how the hell does Tenn all of a sudden get respect for a rivalry game after their putrid games ytd?

i dont get it.

we may have a few issues "finishing the game" but some may argue (including myself) that we are the best team in the SEC. tenn has gracefully been demoted to a B-tier SEC team this season but now "have a chance to win" because terrence cody is out. This is unreal. I can't wait until they meet Josh chapman.

There's no denying that Auburn and West Virginia are both underperforming teams, but this should be a competitive game on Thursday.

There was good news on the injury front for both squads. WVU quarterback Pat White has been upgraded to probable (head injury) and Auburn's leading rusher, Ben Tate, is probable despite a nagging hamstring.

The betting is pretty one-sided in this matchup with 71 percent of our side action on Auburn. The Tigers are also garnering an absurd percentage (84) of the moneyline action. Auburn is +135 to win straight up.

The spread has remained -3 all week and the total - after opening 39 - has slid down to 38. This could be a result of West Virginia?s perfect under record this season.

The public is heavy on the over (78 percent) even though Auburn has one of the worst offenses in the nation and West Virginia has played under the total in all five of its lined games this season.

Did you get me email?

Love Alabama this weekend but haven't looked at it closely. That being said, the line move makes me just go an enjoy the game...

I took Auburn... Doh! -2.5
