Vandy not only is the best team in SEC but they are they only ones to graduate a decent number of their players.

Miss State played a pansy schedule to reach the bowl eligible threshold, so I don't really consider the an elite team. Bulldogs are a .500 team that got fat on a weak early schedule

U have always been a schmuck

I checked grad rates for SEC 2011 and Vandy is only school higher than 70 percent with 89 rate. At least LSU has improved from the 12 percent they had many years ago. They must be offering more of those UNC Afro classes where you get an A if you have tattoo or earring.

The SEC is more perception than substance, and the media hype and bias is ridiculous. The SEC conference is down and very overrated this year.

Said this at the start of the year...bad as they have been top to bottom in several years! Bama caught a good break getting to play the Irish instead of Oregon!

Vanderbilt and LSU are the top two football programs in the SEC in terms of graduation success rate.

The latest graduation success rate (GSR) scores were released by the NCAA on Thursday, and Vanderbilt checked in at 85 percent and LSU at 77 percent.

The GSR includes transfer students and student-athletes who leave in good academic standing, unlike the federal graduation rate, which does not include transfers. The GSR measures graduation over a six-year period from initial enrollment. These latest figures are a four-year average for freshmen who entered school between fall 2002 and fall 2005.

Below are the GSR numbers for the entire SEC:

Vanderbilt: 85 percent

LSU: 77

Alabama: 75

Florida: 75

Missouri: 73

Georgia: 69

Texas A&M: 69

Kentucky: 65

Auburn: 64

Mississippi State: 60

Ole Miss: 59

Tennessee: 58

Arkansas: 55

South Carolina: 55

Easy there Francis. I used to hang at the college Inn in my day when I came over from the Hill as had a few friends on the football team. Trust me the same shit goes on at NC State or worse. I believe is was Charles Shackleford who said he was amphibious...could use left or right hand :mj07: State is certainly immune to the tats/earring..As Chris Carter would say, "Come on man."

Really? A 6 year run on BCS Championships by 4 different teams and you say it's more perception than substance. That might be the dumbest fucking thing I have ever read on here.
