second half Creighton...any thoughts

got creighton for the game, and am considering siu 2h for a huge middle opportunity.
only hesitation is that creighton doesnt fu/ck around when they blow teams out. theyve taken big halftime leads and made em even bigger in the 2h of games earlier this season.
it just seems like creighton is trying to make a statement here.
siu looks like the obvious 2h choice. almost like a public 2h play if there is such a thing.
i gotta pass, as tempting as the middle is. creighton might fu.ck em up

Salukis know now that to get in at this point will be in the hands of the selection committee. So I look for them to be going all out all the way to the end. Creighton on the other hand knows that they are definitely headed to the tourney and if they have around a 20 point lead with 5 minutes to go I'd be shocked to see any starters left in.

gman, I understand what you are saying but unlike normal the number 1 concern for Creighton now will be to make sure none of their key players get hurt. I think if they end up pushing up the lead early that will just lead to the starters getting pulled earlier.
That being said, if I were in your position I'd probably just stick with the almost guaranteed winner too.

heres the thing- i honestly think those betting SIU for the 2h need them to play creighton even for the first 8:00 of the 2h, or until around the under 12:00 media timeout. at that point, creighton should start pulling guys.
creighton will try to get it to 30 right out of the gate. if siu can withstand that initial creighton push- theyll cover the 2h.
SIU is almost guaranteed to win the final 6:00 of the game imo.

Fuxckin creightons coach didnt pull starters till a minute plus left in the game that fuxckin co ck sucker..
S. Illinois guard missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer that rimmed in and out. if he would have made it S. Illinois would of covered 2nd half..

That missed 3 at the end was a killer. I wish Creighton would have just won by 40 and saved me the last second frustration.

Don't know what Creighton's coach was trying to prove leaving the starters in that long. You can bet the Salukis will remember this one come next year.
